Suparsa's is great! The son picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night. The breakfast every morning is delicious (usually fruit and something else like eggs or pancakes). They can help arrange tours for you as well. I did the Mt. Batur trek which was great!! The family was all very welcoming. Close enough to town to walk although I know most people would probably rent a motorbike. Roosters will wake you up...but that's everywhere in Ubud.
