We were aware that the property isn't exacted located close to the central area, however, it was worse than our expectations since it was very secluded inside a rundown residential area and far from main roads causing great inconvenience without transport. The neighbours were also constantly burning rubbish producing strong smells that could not be avoided as the kitchen and living area was outdoors. This is also very unpleasant as we could only hide in our rooms to avoid the smell. On our first night we also found cockroaches in the master bedroom and spiders in the other. The overall condition of the property was also very dusty as if it hadn't been inhabited for a while. Check-in was also very awkward since it was a self-run villa and we had to wait at the door for the owner to come unlock the property. To get anywhere the owner also wanted to charge 70,000 IDR as transportation fee which was very disappointing considering how inconvenient the accommodation was. We were seriously considering another property for the second night instead and letting the money go to waste for our own safety.
