The Island of Anglesey offers many visitor attractions including a sea zoo and a butterfly palace, and many wonderful walking and cycling opportunities, especially along the 125 miles of stunning coastline. Beaumaris, with its 13th-century castle and fishing or birdwatching trips, is close by, as is the stunning Red Wharf Bay with its miles of open sands and an excellent waterside restaurant. Hafod y Bryn is also within easy driving distance of the Snowdonia National Park, with its dramatic mountain scenery and myriad of exhilarating outdoor pursuits. Beach ½ mile.
