Upon completion, Villa by the Sea will embody a luxury coastal aesthetic, blending open, light-filled interiors with breathtaking front-row panoramic ocean views. Lovely position but average house

The house has direct access to the beautiful Tybee beach, which is fantastic. However, the house is a little old with no direct access to the pool and garden except through the garage. Outside furniture and cushions were old and stained and there were no cushions for the pool loungers. Outside area and pool table in garage with old, manky furniture was also not great at all. There were also lots of roaches and bugs everywhere. Overall, disappointed in this house, which was relatively expensive for the standard. I would not recommend it and would certainly not stay there again.

Great views but bugs & old furniture

The location is fantastic but for the price you pay per night I would expect better. The property manager was responsive but we had to have pest control spray and swap beds due to a bug infestation. We had multiple bugs in suitcases from the affected rooms. Also some of the furniture needs replaced especially around the pool. Multiple pieces of furniture were broke when we arrived and one of the pool chairs ripped while a family member was simply laying out. We would chose a different location for our next trip.

Tybee Island Paradise

This property was absolutely perfect---the views of the sunrise were extraordinary -- the short private walkway to the beach was perfect--the heated pool and hot tub kept everyone happy--the decor was beautiful--the Villa was spacious with a lot of refrigerator storage. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cookware, glasses etc... The office staff was very courteous and helpful. We are hoping to go back very soon.

Great location!

Overall, this was a fantastic stay. The location is nice & super convenient. The only minor things that we found were that the 2nd king bedroom's (not the master) bed was horrible. It was like sleeping on nothing but springs & we are both 31 with no back issues & we woke up very sore every morning. The two other minor things were that you can't get to the pool unless you walk out the front door & through another door through the garage, which wasn't a huge deal, just more annoying that anything. Also, for the house to be as big as it is, the driveway is extremely small. We were able to fit 4 cars comfortably & five if everyone was literally bumper to bumper. Overall a really nice home.

Overall Great Experience

This was our second annual family vacation & first visit to Tybee Island. We found the property to be as described for the most part & thoroughly enjoyed the pool & ocean views. That said, we had a few issues. One of the air conditioning units did not work, causing part of the house to get pretty stuffy. Also, the refridgerator in the lower level (pool level) never worked all weel, despite at least two maintenance visits. My husband & I also left the sliding deck doors in the master bedroom open the first night, & woke up to small flying bugs all over the ceiling. It would have been very nice if those doors (& other doors & Windows throughout the house) had screens on them. Overall, though, we had a great time!
