Hen Golchdy is a very comfortable cottage with great facilities, well equipped and only a couple of minutes walk to the near by tea rooms.

Winter break

Had a wonderful stay at Hen Golchdy. The communication from Anglesey lettings was excellent the app they sent with all the information was so helpful. The cottage itself was perfect ,exceptionally clean and had everything you could possibly need,the cottage is not too far from the beach so the car was not always needed,little shop nearby,local pub and handy tea room. Aberffraw is a lovely place with a stunning beach Superb place to stay if you have dogs or children Would definitely book again.

Second stay in these cottages and would return again. Perfect location.

We first stayed 2 years back February half term and had such fond memories so we booked again, but in the bigger cottage this time, it was huge! So cosy and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time there, great cooking facilities, big fridge/freezer too. Both bedrooms had large ensuites. Beds were really comfy. High quality mattresses and bed linen plenty of fluffy white towels. Location is just perfect 5mins from the estuary and fantastic walks to the beaches and coves. Perfect for bird/nature spotting. Lovely cafe on site, GF options, good price and large portions. We would highly recommend it and I'm sure we will be back again. Aberffraw is just magical (even in Feb)

Brilliant week in Anglesey

We had great week. Excellent cottage. Good location for exploring Anglesey. Watch sheep and RAF planes from the windows! Easy to find and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Great cafe on site. Could do with a few finishing touches like a shelf in both bathrooms and somewhere to hang your clothes - there is no wardrobe in either bedroom.

Great holiday

Really enjoyed ourselves only wish we could have left the dogs a little just to go out for a meal but rules are rules.

Annual visit

This is our 4th.visit to this complex and we always enjoy our time there. Just being picky when I say the living area chairs are not too comfortable plus a dishwasher and washing machine would make it 100%.

Bonfire escape

The property was lovely & had everything I needed. Great location so close to the beach at Aberffraw. Have stayed at these cottages before not this new one. Would recommend, especially if you do have 4 stays as it is very spacious.

Super comfortable and clean , lovely welcome basket ( probably best we've had ) . Unexpected highlight of the holi day was the window visitors of cows and sheep ..... kids and adults both loved . Would love to go back!

Aberffraw the Old Washroom

Lovely place, ideal for 2 or 4. Administration team very good, provided all necessary information in advance. Lovely coffee shop with small bar, but sadly only open until 4 pm. Local shop in village not very well stocked, but local pub very welcoming. Lovely walks, dogs were very settled, and we had everything we needed in the property - it was well thought out. Would highly recommend, lots of sheep to watch, beautiful beach and coastline.

Clean and quiet retreat

The beautifully located cottage, which was wonderfully clean. A stones throw from glorious costal walks and a short drive to the nearby town of Rhosneigr with eateries etc. Great set up for my kids although didn't realise there was no mattress or linens in the cot before coming (my fault for not reading the small print) so bring one with you if needing the cot! We had a couple of minor issues and the staff at Anglesey Holiday Lettings were lovely and sorted them out quickly. Could do with a bigger couch and a bit more storage for families, though.

Short break with friends

The newest property on the complex and ideal for both friends and family. Spacious and beautifully decorated throughout. Have stayed on the complex before and love the river estuary and beach on the doorstep. Our dogs loved it too. Just missing the local pub; it was great to be able to take the dogs and have a drink and a meal without having to drive. Rhosneigr has the Oyster Catcher but very busy and limited space for dogs. Need to book! Enjoyed the beaches at Rhosneigr, the crepes at Mojo's, the beach at Benllech and dog friendly cafe, the Shed.

Beautiful location. Excellent property for people with limited mobility especially with a disabled parking space outside the property. Please note that there is one step to access the bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and bed linen was very clean. Towels were to a high standard. Snow white and lovely and fluffy. There is no hanging cupboard space and no specific place for shoes or wet coats.
