I can't say enough great things about our stay. Perfect in every way. Responsive stall lined us up with a terrific snorkeling trip. Rooms are fabulous. Everything looks brand new. Linens are 1st class. Furnishings 1st class. Beach 1st class. We walked to the golf course right across the street. Fabulous and friendly there too. Conch chowder at Opus is wonderful.
The Tuscany is located right on Grace Bay...I mean, right on it. It appears to be closer to the water than other resorts. Beyond that, every one of their 30, very large units has views of the ocean. We were in a center unit, on the 5th floor and could see the blue water from a good portion of the spaces. We ate all of our meals on the room-sized patio. Inside the unit, there was a living room, a large dining table, 2 bedrooms (you can opt for 1 or 3, I believe), a laundry room and a fully equipped kitchen. I can't tell you how handy some of these items were. There was also plenty of storage space and hangers to completely unpack. This really allowed us to settle in and feel at home. There is also a gym, a pool that was virtually empty, beach chairs and umbrellas, towels, noodles to float on(!), bikes to ride into town. They also provide a cell phone (for local calls) and lots of bottles of water to you during your stay; all thoughtful details. While there is no restaurant on premises, right next door is the Cabana Grill; it is virtually connected to the Tuscany. Lastly, we found Paul, Terria and Shawnemae to be very welcoming and helpful. Shawnemae helped me from my booking 3 months ago, to setting up a jeep rental, excursions and dinner reservations. Any member of the staff we came in contact seemed happy we were there...and we were! I'd like to return next year. Enough said.
We stayed for 8 days and had a wonderful time. The hotel is quiet and located on the beach. While it does not have a restaurant, the hotel next door is convenient and has 2 restaurants and a beach bar. Pina coladas are excellent. Rooms are very nice. Ask for an upper floor if you want a view of the beach. The staff is excellent and will bend over backwards to make you happy! We recommend you call ahead to the hotel for restaurant reservation as it can be difficult to get into the good ones. We highly recommend Infinity at The Grace Bay Club and Opus which is right outside of the hotel. These restaurants were the best of all. Avoid the Seven Stars Hotel beach BBQ. Enjoy your stay!
wonderful place....ideal location on the beach....delightful employees....well furnished.....immaculate facility.......had second year in row for outstanding family vacation.....kid friendly.....very convenient restaurant on beach in adjacent property
We just arrived home from an 8 day trip to the Tuscany on Grace Bay Beach to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday. Everything was fantastic. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the screened in porch meant we could enjoy our cocktail hour at "champagne o'clock" without bugs bothering us. The gardens and pool are gorgeous and the views from every balcony and every master suite are breath taking. There were lots of special details that surprised us such as beach toys, water toys, chilled water bottles by the beach, laundry detergent in the laundry room and fresh beach towels delivered to your room daily. We were even given a local cell phone and had someone stock our fridge for us before we arrived! The housekeepers did an amazing job as well. Everything was perfect and every staff member we encountered went above and beyond. We will be back!!
We were really curious to stay at the Tuscany. Having been to Provo 10 time or so, and having stayed at all the major spots, we were curious since Tuscany is so highly reviewed. The high ratings are NOT a mistake. Tuscany's property is great, with nice large pool and an absolutely fantastic part of the beach. We really thought the condos at Tuscany were really a step above nearly all the properties we've stayed at. They are really large and very tastefully done with full kitchens and great...I say great! balconies. The thing that tops it all is the staff. Tuscany is kind of "limited service" in the sense that they don't have a restaurant or beach staff. But I actually really came to appreciate this far more than the "high service" resorts. Here's why: It's better to not offer services than to offer sub standard service. A lot of resorts on GB position themselves as 5 start resorts with 5 star service. But in reality, and in our experience...they are not even close. This is a setup for disappointment. Tuscany breaks through this by simply making things simple. Outstanding housekeeping: check. Need something? just a call away on a resort provided mobile. Stunning rooms and views. No fuss, no muss...just enjoyable time on the beach without all the nonsense. I can't recommend Tuscany more highly for those who just want peace, quiet and a great place to stay with ultra-friendly and responsive staff.
Spent a week at this condo resort. Great location, right on the beach. Staff at condo are very accommodating. They have vip service to restaurants and grocery store. Grocery store is expensive, but is similar going to a high end store in the states. Many restaurants within walking distance to this condo.
Just back from our 3rd trip to Grace Bay and our first time staying at the Tuscany. The condo was exactly what we needed for our group of 5. Views of the beach were incredible, staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and help us with reservations and recommendations. Bottled water in a cooler on the beach every day--it was little details like this that sets the Tuscany apart from other resorts. Highly recommend this property--on the quiet end of Grace Bay---you can always find the party, but it's nice to not be right in the middle of it! All units are on the beach--upper floors afford better views, but you can't go wrong here!
Stayed here and they don’t offer anything like in a hotel, went to mention this in the reception and they did not give me any explanation. This is my second review frustrating as they keep deleting the reviews in a review website.
We had seen the condo on line and had a certain expectation. We walked in and WOW, it was even nicer than the pictures!Terria and Shawnemae met us when we arrived and were absolutely delightful the whole time we were there. The weather was windy with occasional rain while we were there which somewhat limited the water sports. It was still a delightful time. The condo was extremely comfortable and spacious for 3 couples. The pool is gorgeous and never crowed.
