The Somerset is fabulous. The entire staff is top notch. We arrived Oct 3 while the resort was still recovering from the hurricanes. We were upgraded to a Penthouse. It is FABULOUS!! Everything you could want or need was provided. The resort dining options were not open but they provided transportation and daily breakfast at Shay Cafe. The entire staff is exemplary. Berry welcomed us like family and her smile is infectious. She drove my 89 year old mom to Mr. Grouper's to pick up dinner. When my mom returned, she was ecstatic about her trip and meeting Berry's family (especially the baby). Thank you Berry for the love you showed. You cannot teach her level of hospitality. Stevonya was my rock through the uncertainty of the hurricanes. She even responded to my gofundme question. Housekeeping was daily and thorough. Marsha is delightful lady. The resort was not crowded and at times we had the pools and beach to ourselves. It was our private oasis. Collin, Reco and crew were friendly and attentive. Security always had a warm smile and a kind word. I applaud Managing Director Kevin Reeder for valuing the needs of the employees and their personal struggles after the hurricanes. This spirit of caring was witnessed in all of the wonderful folk we met. We're looking forward to our 3rd visit in 2018.

The Somerset is simply beautiful. We rented a 3 bedroom residence and it was super spacious. Three bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen with Viking appliances, dining room, living room, washer / dryer etc. The grounds were gorgeous and the best part about our stay was the staff! They were attentive to every need. Solomon {night security} was so on top of everything. He's a big teddy bear who is excellent at his job. Also, the front desk was so well represented by Adrain Gibson & Billy Joe Williams. They were so helpful and went above and beyond. Sharon Scott and Jodecei are also wonderful. The Somerset was conveniently located and a car really isn't necessary. The restaurant was closed due to the recent hurricane, but they accommodated us with daily breakfast at Shay Cafe just down the road. I'd have to say the only thing missing here would be a hot tub near the pool. Other than that, it was perfect. Thanks for everything!

I recently stayed at the Somerset and have to say that the level of hospitality was second to none from the moment I arrived every single person I met ensured my every need was taken care off and I hope to be back soon. I would like to recognize some of the team that took care of me as they were all amazing: Berry, Stefonya, Tanya, Sharon, Raymond, Alicia, Adrian and even Leroy from the maintenance team went above and beyond. Credit to these stars for making my stay so memorable. Finally I need to mention the General Manager Kevin Reeder who personally drove me to the airport, true professional and gent who leads a great team. The level of service blew me away!

The Somerset is an amazing resort. I traveled to Turks & Caicos for the first time with my wife and 11 week old daughter. From the moment we arrived every hotel employee showed perfect service. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Warren did a great job showing us to our room and giving us an overview of the resort. Rico at the pool was always there if you needed anything. David and Jay at the bar was very friendly. I saw the GM, Kevin, and he was there greeting guests and talking to everyone. My wife went to the spa and she enjoyed her 90 minute massage. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.

Enjoyed the relaxed environment, personal service and lovely accommodations. Somerset has just enough high quality amenities. A simple restaurant with very good food. Wish the restaurant was on the water, as it was quite hot at times. The pool side service was great and the food was fresh and tasty. Thanks to Nick and Ingrid for excellent service. Enjoyed that everyone knew our name. Cannot say enough about the spa treatments. They were just lovely and the spa staff was wonderful.

We stayed at Somerset mid August 2017 we had an amazing time the kids had lots of fun in the kids club with Sharon Thanks to Winston,Adrian an ingrd for looking after us, I can't forget billy at reception always willing to help getting our taxi and anything we need This is our 3rd trip to Somerset and still loving it, I will not hesitate to return, long flight from London but well worth it Chambers family

If you are heading to Turks and Caicos, and you are looking for a relaxing luxurious vacation, look no further than the Somerset @ Grace Bay. Greeted with refreshing Rum Punches at the front desk by Sharon, and escorted to our villa and given a nice overview of the room and resort. The pool area is quiet and relaxing and the pool is very clean. They have a bar/restaurant at the pool and the food and drinks are great! The beach is cleaned daily and all non motorized sports are included. Rico and Quensley typically work the pool and beach and are super friendly and help you with things like snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards, and are there to greet you with an ice cold water upon return. Colin at the pool was also great, so friendly with the kids and always helped us get setup daily at the pool, with clean chairs and fresh towels. He even cleaned up my son's conch shell that we found when snorkeling and made it look like a souvenir, which made my son's day! The beach BBQ is great, it's a must. DJ Winston is amazing, and Winston also plays a few different roles at the resort. Continental breakfast is included daily and you can sit and have that, or take it to go and they will customize it daily for you. You can also order off the menu, and the food is good. Margarita and Ingrid were there daily to help me out. Adrian helped me order my groceries and ensured they were timed to be delivered to our room as soon as we arrived. He also made all of my dinner reservations and had some great recommendations. Lastly, the GM, Kevin, is there onsite daily, and very attentive to clients needs to make sure you have a wonderful vacation. You will not get this level of attention and service, at the larger resorts. Thanks to all the staff at Somerset for making our vacation one we'll never forget! I hope to come back and see you all soon! As far as activities, we did snorkeling on Island Vibes, expensive, but a fun trip. We also did scuba diving with Caicos Adventures, which I highly recommend. Good times.

We stayed in the Dundee building on the Ground Floor. Personally, I dislike ground floor accommodations, however it worked out in this case due to the wonderful front yard in front of the villa. In addition, the porch extension provided even more space that the other units did not have. The grounds are well maintained. The beach space is wonderful and not crowded. Activities provided (for a small fee) were a great perk (paddle boards, snorkels, Hobie boats and kayaks). Lots of pool space. The staff was gracious and very accommodating. The villa was clean and came with Netflix (added bonus). Some minor inconveniences that knocked down my review - Hard to find from the road, no sign for the resort (only the restaurant), caffeinated coffee was not replaced in three of the seven nights we stayed, can't charge spa treatments or drinks at the pool to your room and lastly, the villa needed some minor touch-up paint/stucco repair that made it look worn. Overall, small resort with great accommodations and amenities.

This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos but definitely not our last. I was torn between the Somerset and "another" resort but after speaking to Stevonya and the wonderful email following our phone conversation I didn't hesitate to book with Somerset. I am so glad I did. I am a Four Seasons kinda girl so my expectations are usually pretty high. Everything from the check in to our bags being promptly delivered to our room went very smoothly. We stayed in a ground floor 3 bedroom (The Welwyn I believe) and it was absolutely gorgeous and super clean. Despite being on the ground floor we were still able to see ocean views and I appreciated that my small children could run around in the grass instead of being confined to a balcony. I guess if I had to search for a flaw it would have to be the room service. Though we did purchase groceries from the local store we wanted coffee and breakfast our first morning brought to us but it took forever to arrive and was cold. Cold coffee is never a good thing. But I must say the drinks and food by the pool is a lot better. I loved the shrimp wrap so much I ordered it twice while we were there! Rico was the sweetest with any activity requests we had at the beach. He was super friendly and polite. I will definitely be returning to The Somerset next time we are in Turks.

This place is amazing! They meet you at the front desk upon check-in, bring you a rum punch, help with your bags and get you set up with all of their amenities. There are many! Kids Club for the children, shopping service, the concierge is more than accommodating, and much, much more! The rooms are spectacular with amazing views of the most pristine ocean in the world! There is bar service on the beach with cabanas as well as kayaks, paddle boards, and little sail boats to rent. The pool is gorgeous and clean with restaurant and bar service as well. The food is delicious! I could go on and on, but you really have to check it out for yourself! I love this place!
