The Atrium Resort

I stayed at the this resort the second week of October...so not long after hurricane Irma and Maria. I was happy that the place was up and running so quickly after the hurricanes! Overall, the resort feels more like a condo. We stayed in the the 1 bedroom studio. The room had a living area and separate bedroom area. The living area had a kitchenette with a college size fridge, full size microwave, and 2 burner electric stove (no oven) and a small washer and dryer. It also had dishes and pans adequate for a week long stay. I had not complaints. I brought items from home like coffee, tea, popcorn, dish soap, laundry detergent and some food items. My son is a picky eater so eating out isn't always fun with him. It also saved money. We did eat out some meals but know that it's expensive to eat out on the island. It's also expensive buying groceries as well...but still less than eating out every meal. My only complaint about the resort was the bed. I am used to a pillow top mattress and the beds are very firm. Some people like firm but unfortunately for us we are used to very soft beds. I didn't sleep well at all. This one factor will probably make me hesitate on booking at this resort again. If that's not a big deal for you then this place is fine. We rented a car at the airport so we drove to a new beach every day. The beach closest to the resort can be walked to within 10 mins or so. The pool is great for family and kids. Overall, our stay was nice!

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed at . the rooms are immaculate it was the perfect setting . the pool was the greatest and the hot tub was perfect . The room was stocked with coffee and a coffee maker and a kitchen it was beautiful .

The staff was a bit hard to find, and the desk was not open 24hrs. There is also no housekeeping, which was not clear to me before the arrival. The room was comfortable, the pool was amazing and the grounds were very well kept.

The stay was wonderful. No complaints. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

The hotel was in good shape but one of the main problems with it is that there wasn't a restaurant or bar on site. All meals have to be either made or you have to go out. Positive is that it is very secure and you're provided with your own parking spot. You will need a car here Bed wasn't too comfortable.

The studio I was given had a moldy smell. When I informed the the woman at the front desk, her response was that she didn't think is was moldy and she did not have another room available. I had to stay in this room for the duration on my trip. I tried to spend the least amount of time in it. I personally think she was not being helpful or accommodating. The room itself was not very clean and I had to re clean it myself.

The Atrium hotel is exactly where to go for peace and tranquility. The grounds are kept clean and constantly maintained. The pool was very relaxing and so was the beach access which was merely less than 5 minutes away. If you're dependent on front desk assistance well they may lack in that area. However within your mini suite you can easily feel at home. A car is a must as this hotel is a bit isolated. This hotel has a cafe but I ventured out to other food establishments. I also stocked up on a few grocery to make mid day snacks. The suite is equipped with everything. I really enjoyed my stay on this beautiful island and do hope to return VERY soon.

i loved this hotel! the staff was so friendly and at first I didn't know what to think of the "condo" style rooms, turns out I like them a lot more than normal hotel rooms now!

My boyfriend and I loved this hotel! it was excellent and comfortable with a beautiful pool! Though it is quite new, there were not to many guests in the hotel. But in that case, my boyfriend and I enjoyed it much more then a busy resort like Beaches. The staff is super friendly and our rooms (aka condos) were more then what we wanted and it's great for it's price!! Make sure to rent a car or motorcycle while you're there because taxi's and other sorts of transportation are quite expensive. If we go back to Turks and Caicos this will be the resort that we stay at again! Absolutely lovely!

The Atrium is your quintessential condo hotel and features modern, clean and comfortable rental units. The facility itself is new and has a beautiful swimming pool area which is the focal point of the hotel. There is also a small fitness center and snack shop which recently opened. Also, most of the guests seemed to be families with young children. However, prospective guests should be aware that the facility has very minimal management on-site (we often couldn't find anyone to speak with regarding questions, directions or recommendations) and the hotel is located on the far end of Grace Bay in the Leeward community away from most of the resorts (we initially had difficulty locating the resort because Google maps misidentifies the location). We didn't find this to be a huge problem since we are the adventurous type, but it is essential to rent a car so that you can get around the island. It is also important to know that the hotel is not on the beach, but is a short 5 minute walk. This didn't bother us either as we accessed the beach from several different locations that we identified after driving around, but access points aren't clearly marked. Also, the rooms don't have daily housekeeping so we had to wash our towels regularly (each unit has a washer/dryer). We also recommend purchasing groceries at the Graceway Market as the units have kitchens. All in all, the Atrium is a great facility that offers exceptional value and we would definitely return. However, if you are looking for an all inclusive resort, you have come to the wrong place.
