Ariel is an amazing manager and you can tell he really enjoys and loves what he does! Every morning he provides coffee and assorted pastries (so large and delicious!) by the pool from 8am-9am. He is also great for booking excursions (discounted!), rec., and restaurant/taxi reservations. Condo never felt crowded or loud. There is 18 units (9 per building) but probably only half were occupied. There is construction next door, but there is construction everywhere on the island, and it's island time, so sometimes they work for an hour or half a day. It was never distracting. Beach is 3 minute walk behind the condo. Loungers are available, there is suppose to be someone to help with dragging them on the beach, but we only saw them one day and were not much help. Umbrellas are a must and unfortunately the condo does not provide them. At the gift shop they are $40.
Gift shops and restaurants are only 2 minute walk down the main street, this is pretty much it for variety unless you drive. We love Turkberry (frozen yogurt) and cheap! There is a convenience store behind Turkberry (condo provides an old wagon to carry stuff). We bought a package of water there ($24 for island brand) for a 24 pack. The IGA is about 10-15 minute walk (about a block south of Seven Stars Resort). It is expensive but USA brands especially. So we enjoyed some authentic Italian spaghetti for $1.23.
Go to Fish Fry on Thursday (about 10 min. walk) for same items for haggling price. Chill & Relaxed Island!!
