Excellent hotel close to Turin airport. Helpful staff, comfortable rooms with very good food. Splendid banquet for a wedding with a pleasant area for some courses to be taken outside. Well organised delightful event. We would happily stay here again.
We stayed 2 nights for friends wedding Good size room and bathroom. TV channels all Italian, not a single English channel or at least with English subtitles Breakfast choice was small and poor. Only hot option was some weird looking scrambled eggs. Coffee was the worst filtered coffee I have ever had No kettle/coffee/tea making facilities in the room Most of us couldn't find the lights for the corridor so at night we had to use the torch on our phones and walk in the dark to our room Our room was on ground floor and I found it very noisy. You can hear everything from outside, people walking down the corridor even the people in the room above us I had poor sleep both nights The hotel however is good for weddings. My impression was that they were very professional I personally won't stay any longer than 2 nights as it is in the middle of nowhere The only place you can go and eat is a restaurant in the nearby village The hotel restaurant was expensive main course alone ranged from 20- 34 euros
Venues that call themselves "romantic" normally raise my suspicion but in our view Hotel Furno supplies what is advertises. We booked one night prior to our flight out of Caselle due to the vicinity of the airport. When our hotel in Nice appeared not really what we expected we added one night in Furno, leaving the Cote Azur earlier than planned. We did not regret! The drive to Turin is about 30 minutes - mostly highway - and there are enough restaurants in in the area (one on walking distance) for those who like to venture out for dinner. The 2 story building stands alone out in the fields with ample parking space and real real quit. All personnel were friendly. The receptionist advised us which restaurants were open on a monday, made calls, booked us in a perfect place and explained extensively how to drive there. Security feels good; returning late at night we had to wait for the iron gate to open before passing one more barrier to the space reserved for hotel guests. My impression is that this place also caters the local population a romantic setting for weddings and receptions but we did not have any of that during our stay. The ambiance is stylish nostalgic and all comforts are in place. Our rooms/bathrooms were clean and spacious. At breakfast we opened the door to the patio; except from a single bird and a distant take-off from Caselle Airport the silence was just what we needed before returning to the check-in counters of Alitalia. Compared with similar class hotels in town our invoice was surprisingly optimistic which in our opinion justifies an "excellent" rating.
We had a nice, large room, with A/C. We dined superbly on northern Italian cuisine and seafood. Good selection of wines. Helpful front desk staff. Lovely, quiet garden. A perfect indulgence before a flight home the next morning.
Nice hotel, however hard to decide if I like it. The exterior and interior is really something, location near the airport is perfect, but... the receptionist was barely speaking English, shower was broken, breakfast buffet had poor selection... Maybe we were there on the bad day, because we heard a lot of nice things about this hotel. Maybe the best is to go there and check it by yourself
We were spending a night in Turin before driving to the snow. We arrived late with ski gear and tired kids. We had organised a van to pick us up and this was perfect to fit the 4 of us, 2 pairs of skis and the rest. The hotel also organised transfers to and from the snow in the same van which was great. The hotel itself is lovely - a beautiful old converted farmhouse, that has been delightfully renovated. It's really too nice for just an overnight stay - it would have been nice to spend more time there. Breakfast was great as well. We loved everything and would definitely stay there again.
I have come several times during different periods (summer, Christmas) to the Romantik hotel and I can only recommend it! The hotel is surrounded by an astonishing mountain landscape and it is situated in a very calm area but also not too far from other cities and Turin, which makes it a great location. You can enjoy the swimming pool during summer time, and warm yourself up at the fireplace (in some of the rooms) during winter time, which makes it the perfect location for every season! The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. The food, from breakfast to aperitivo and dinner, as well as the wine selection were exquisite (for a reasonable price) and the service always quick and professional. And the staff was truly amazing! They have been very welcoming and kind and were of perfect advice regarding what to visit in the surrounding area. I came with my family, including my grandmother who is disabled, and they always tried to help us/her to put her at ease. Thank you for this beautiful stay. We will come back soon for sure!
Not often do you find a hotel of this quality near to an airport. Lovely location with impressive view of the Alps and both outside and inside of the hotel are impressive. Room was superb, faultless as was wifi. Unfortunately, I was unable to sample the delights of the restaurant, but the menu looked excellent. Breakfast was good, although bias towards continental, but good quality and in lovely restaurant. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return when next at Caselle - highly recommended.
The Romantic Hotel Furno is a lovely property a mere 10 minutes from the Turin airport. The countryside is beautiful and the hotel is a refurbished 18th century farmhouse. The service was wonderful and the staff was very courteous. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a 5:30 am flight departing Turin after 7 days of travel, so I wanted to stay nearby by the airport, but preferably not spend the last night of our wonderful time in Italy at a bland and cheesy airport hotel. On the day before our flight we visited the nearby Venaria Reale, a House of Savoy palace very much like Versailles. The palace is a UNESCO world heritage site with incredible gardens and museums. The hotel gave us a ride for less than the cost of a taxi and even stopped for us so we could do a bit of shopping. The restaurant was delicious. It's a great place to stay outside of busy Turin, a good way to end a trip, and most certainly the best place to stay near the airport. Loved it.
Taxi took us from the Airport to this little "oasis" in the Italian countryside. We had no expectations as this was a one night stay-over before flying to Paris the next day. What we found was a charming hotel that was originally an 18th century farm...restored about 15 years ago. has an "older" feel to it but is absolutely charming. Has only 33 rooms... Service was very good...I will review the restaurant separately but it was outstanding!
