Stayed here last year and really enjoyed it. We treated my parents to 3 nights here for their wedding anniversary and they loved it too. Just the perfect location to walk around the city. Lots of local bars and restaurants literally on the doorstep. Concierge very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is buffet affair with lots of cold food. Not option wasn’t great so didn’t go for that but then this is Italy...good cocktail bar for nightcap and they mix all the cocktails going.
Great hotel in a very nice city , Torino which is the largest city in Piedmont; beautiful and modern.the rooms are all Art Deco. The marbles and baths are oustanding. The service very good. And the prices very accesible. I highly recommend this great Hotel. Make reservations in advance
Very nice hotel, just in the middle of old town, close to everywhere museums, shops, monuments etc. The rooms are comfortable, if you choose upper floor you will have a great view. The breakfast was sufficient for a business hotel, wifi service was good enough.
We are frequent guests of this hotel. Because of trying to avoid new problems like we had in 2017 I decided to write a mail to the General Manager of this hotel. I got a reply from a lady from the front office desk/reception. After my mail which I have send to the female General Manager with my wish, that she should care personally about our new stay(to avoid the same problems like in 2017 and years before as well!) we got an answer from the female front office manager ( I do not want to write her name here). She has not even understand the sense of my mail and wish, she answered, that I should have a look at the website of the hotel!! Shame of this inacceptable behaviour! Unbelievable that staff in this position seems to be unable to understand English! Upon arrival -thanks god- our friendly caring receptionist - sorry, I have forgotten his name- wearing glasses, made us a warm welcome. And -very important for guests- arriving with an own car- has presented us a document, where the hotel is requesting the authorities, to delete and avoid fines in case that a foreign car driver is not paying attention not to cross/pass with the car forbidden areas in the city center next to the hotel! This is a new advantage of/from the hotel. Ask for it! Then we got the key card for our room. Of course - like the years before- one key card was not working! Inside the room we found -after informing the management to care about our new stay- the small business card (visiting card) of the female General Manager with the hand written ( ballpen)message on it: " Welcome back"! Added we found 3 (!!) Macarons for two guests with a printed notice: " A little gift, prepared by our Pastry Chef: Macarons with pistachio. Enjoy! " Make up your mind for this. At breakfast there was one (only) thing what is better now. You do not need to pay extra for your orange juice! Opposite the staff(waiters) - like the years before- is not caring about guests. They prefer to hold a small talk together! The quality of breakfast is simple/poor like the years before. Of course we were happy to meet our professional caring barkeeper! While paying the bill (check out)- not before- for our stay, the receptionist informed us, that that the General Manager- wants to speak to us. Unfortunately we had no time for this small talk with our luggage in hands because of having done a reservation for lunch 130 km away from this hotel. What is the reason to return, what is the advantage, especially for frequent guests?
We had a marvelous stay at Principi di Piemonte. Wonderful interiors and amenities, very good service and excellent breakfast too. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. This is a great hotel within walking distance of historic center with a very professional staff.
Sentral, elegant first class hotel, big room and comfortable bed, huge bathroom, close to everything, very good breakfast.Helpful staff working in this hotel, you meet smiling faces everywhere, will stay here again next time.
Once more, we had the pleasure to stay at this wonderful, classic, perfect hotel. Its location could not be better, a couple of walks from the splendid Via Roma, but in a most tranquil, almost private little street. The rooms are spotless with spacious beds, soft linens and excellent blinders. Walking closets, big bathrooms with showers and tubes, many white towels. This list could go over and over and over. In my opinion this is the best hotel in all Torino. And this is quite an achievement.
The staff are very pleasant, the rooms sumptuous, the breakfast tired and mediocre, and it's charmless. There's nothing wrong with it...and nothing particularly right. Plus: the air conditioning is a big problem. Set for a narrow range. Impossible to make the room cold enough for reasonable sleeping. Go for one of the competitors...save some money, and do better.
We spent a lovely and comfortable night in a junior suite at Principi di Piemonte. The included breakfast spread was delicious. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Spacious bathroom with lovely shower that was quite welcome after a transatlantic flight.
If you’re staying in Turin, this hotel should be on your list. It is like ‘home away from home’, with high-end finishes, strong attention-to-detail, incredible staff, and all of the touch points you’d want in a luxury hotel. The hotel is located in an ideal location in the heart of the city, close to shopping, restaurants, and many historic locations. The hotel itself is full of staff that clearly love their job and take great care of you, whether it be the front desk, the restaurant or the bar. The rooms are quite spacious, and the suite and junior suite are fantastic. The rooms also offer very comfortable beds, great mini fridges, large bathrooms, and modern amenities (hair dryer, kettle, etc.). A few additional notes: - the hotel - given its location in the city center - can become noisy if there are events going on or during the weekend - the gym is a bit small, but honestly, is still the best hotel gym I’ve found in Italy - the eggs at breakfast don’t taste like real eggs... but I was thrilled to see they added egg whites and grilled tomatoes to their already excellent breakfast buffet - air conditioning in the rooms is ‘good’ but not great Honestly, one of my favorite hotels in Italy - comfortable, high-end, spacious rooms, walking distance to many shops and cafes with excellent staff.
