Hotel Villa Glicini

Our stay was ok. Staff was very polite, but a bit messy. Our room wasn't very clean and didn't seem well-finished, such as the rest of the hotel facilities. We had to wait until 4 pm to have our room cleaned up on our second day there. The pool was open to everyone (guests and not guests) and was crowded with people that were very loud and not very respectful. You could listen to club music played for the pool from your room since 9.15 am. Guests had to pay in order to use the gym (which is very big and excellent), indoor pool and sauna. The breakfast room was very small and guests had to wait in order to get a table. Day specials at the restaurant were the same (we stayed two nights). Our stay was ok, but we expected much more from a 4 star hotel.

We stayed a week here on business recently. Rooms were clean large. The breakfast was typical European but coffee was good. Recommend to go out in pinorolo for dinner(10minutes) away, unfortunately the hotel offerings could be better, they need a good chef to shake things up...although cheap. Facilities are great for sports people with a really great gym swimming pools inside/outside and a really relaxing spa with Turkish and traditional steam room, sauna, jacuzzi spa and relaxation room. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Recommended for reasonable place to stay, but remember dine in pinorolo . Hopefully the restaurant gets a new chef menu and then this place will be really good.

small room with tile floor, an old thin blanket and a temperature of 13 degrees! no heating, a broken heater in the bathroom with a real loud and whistling fan. Spa (10€) is good but jacuzzi is.. COLD. I thinking they are saving in heating bills

This was a run of the mill sort of place to stay. The room we stayed in was rather large for a typical European hotel room, which was nice, but only had one small window, so it felt a bit small. The bed was terribly uncomfortable that you could feel the coils and seemed to have a plastic protective cover that crunched whenever you moved. Also strange that at check-in they held our passports for the duration of our stay. The location was not great either. We stayed here two nights as part of a bicycle tour, so we did not have any transportation beside our bikes. It's a ways from the downtown area of Pinerolo and the bus system is not the easy to navigate since there are no maps of the different bus lines. The attached hotel restaurant is really your only option in the area. The breakfast is nice and more than adequate and the staffed coffee bar is a real treat! In the afternoons, an Aperol spritz on the outdoor patio is nice, too. Only 2 euro for a spritz and some chips.

Was booked in here by the local curling club to take part in a competition in the Pinerolo stadium. Rooms are small but adequate, staff are helpful and friendly, food is good. Location may be a problem unless you have your own transport. Air con is not particularly good so get a room at the rear overlooking the pools and open the window

There are much nicer places to stay for only a few dollars more. I would advise the alter hotel over this place. Checked in late at night and left early in the morning. I was grateful I only booked for one night. Another odd thing, they kept my passport overnight. Said they needed it for "checkin". Latte machiato was decision.

Staff spoke English which made it easier to communicate our wishes. They were very accommodating too. There are two big outdoor swimming pools but these were packed with children at the time of our stay. The hotel is a walking distance to a big supermarket and a 45 minutes drive to Turin. We also drove to Milan for a day trip. Wi-Fi and parking were included in the price. Breakfast was dull and after 5 days we had enough of it. We had to look outside for a restaurant to have dinner as there were not many choices. Overall, our hotel rooms were comfortable and good value for money.

Great hotel at a even better price, but four stars are in all possible ways a far streach, its the cheapest stay i have ever had, and the hotel is fine for the price. But things are broken or not maintained. This is not takin the pools into consideration, they are spotless and the lifeguards are very proffesionel and keeps pur kids safe, the staff in general are very pleasent and friendly. Not much info in english so we missed a couple events

Excellent rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. Very clean, has nice sauna and pool. Quite far from the center, but close to shops. overall, nice stay there. the rooms from 1st floors have very nice balconies too

Villa Glicini in San Secondo di Pinerolo sits next to a busy road. But is has atmosphere and is a terrific stop if you want to visit amazing Turin. Breakfast is unitalian decent. Normally breakfast consists of sweet cakes and a coffee. At Villa Glicini they have it all, bread, cereals and fresh capuccino. Our familyroom had a very nice bubble bath which my kids enjoyed a lot, and you have free entrance to the swimmingpool and funpark for the little ones. The employees are very friendly and you are advised to visit Torino by train, do not forget to check in your tickets. Turin is an amazing city.
