This place is the only place I have ever walked out of without unpacking!! Booked online - seemed acceptable - rated 4 star and a partner hotel of Accor Hotels. Upon arrival I was immediately uneasy about the back street location. The building itself didn’t correspond to the online photo - dirty looking - a clever photo so that you don’t see the street! Upon entering, the place was old fashioned, tatty and old. I was located room 115 - nothing like the online pictures of rooms. This was I don’t think had been decorated in the last 20+ years. I felt like I I was somewhere in the Soviet Union years ago. The cleanliness was brilliant and the walls were paper thin, I could hear the next rooms cobversation. The air con didn’t work and it was 28 degrees, when I asked about it I was told it was switched off because summer had finished. They weren’t able to supply a fan for the room. I am a long standing user of Accor Hotels all over the world and am a platinum member, this place fell far short of the standards expected and is most certainly not 4 Star! Doesn’t reflect well on the Accor group. I left and found another hotel nearby that was also advertised as 4 star but which was a world apart.
We stayed 2 nights and chose somewhere out of the city with easy (free) street parking but good access (tram) to the city. We also walked to the city, it is a hike but flat so not strenuous. Nice to walk off all the pizza and pasta, but not a lot to see. The hotel is basic, clean, quiet, breakfast ok. Accommodation was what we expected and really appreciated the staff taking time to suggest local places to eat.
Maybe not the most luxurious hotel in Italy, but modern rooms and comfortable beds. You get here everything needed and friendly staff as a bonus. We stayed here just for one night, but we were satisfied. As a plus I also see the excellent location.
Our room was clean and although basic, was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The included breakfast offered a wide variety, and we enjoyed our stay.
Just of the SS23 set in a quite side street. The lift is slow and we used the stairs as a lot quicker. The rooms are small but clean. The bathroom again small but well a pointed. AC worked well but was non directional. Welcoming staff who were willing to assist.
I've stayed here a few times and have always had a good stay. The hotel is not fancy, but it's definitely adequate in every way. The rooms are modern and pleasant, the staff is friendly and efficient, the breakfast is wonderful, featuring homemade treats.
That hotel is amazing. Really nice and clean room and great fresh choices for Italian breakfast. Staff extremely helpful and very welcoming. We would like to say special thank you to Andea who was really helpful over our little family trip in Turin. Would defiantly recommend that hotel to anyone.
If you need to see a concert/sport event held at palalpitur or the olimpico stadium, there is no doubt this is your hotel. A bit less convenient for the city centre, even tho with just a 30 mins tram ride (number 4, perfectly located across 2 minutes walk from the hotel) you can reach the centre smoothly. Nice welcoming staff ready to take care of our necessity (we needed an early check in, and it wasn't a problem). The hotel has a nice lounge area next to the bar where you can relax and have a chat with your friends/partner/relative/stranger, and on level -1 a nice and cozy breakfast room. In here you'll experience a variety of Italian revisited continental breakfast, lots of choice and great handmade cakes and pastries. Always on level -1 there is a small gym with a sauna open to the guest, where you can burn the calories gained at breakfast time... maybe next time for us lol. The rooms are small but clean and with all the essentials: a place for the luggage at the entrance, a/c, TV with satellite channels (you can switch language to original - usually english), wifi, safe, a closet, an hairdryer in the bathroom; I can't complain. The only thing I would recommend to whom it may concern is to renew the beds: the matresses are good but the bases are old and squeaky, too noisy... If you turn around during the night, or you are an active sleeper get ready to have a difficult time sleeping. We didn't have problem's cause we are calm sleepers but the few times you wake up during the night you'll wake the person sleeping with you, promise. In saying that I feel like this is something that can be improved easily and I would choose this hotel again (hoping they change the mattress bases/ le reti dei letti per capirci) See you next time!
No problems. The Roms are clean, the staff is friendly, the reception is very professionel and have tickets for bus if you need them. The location is good for public transportation. The breakfast is fine and they are filing up until closing time, arriving late for breakfast is no problem.
OK, it is NOT located in the city centre and if you dislike public transport it will not be convienantly located. But there are trams and buses heading for the city centre nearly every 10 minutes and it will only be an half hour ride. Also, if you prefer, you can walk to Lingotto metro station. A longer walk, but much shorter ride. The hotel itself is fine. A 3star rating and the rooms are suitable for just sleeping. Equiped with both A/C and a flatscreen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, you won't need much more. Windows can be completely blinded and there is not much street noise. The breakfast was not very spectacular, but products seemed fresh and tasted very good. Overall the staff was very friendly. On check-out you do have to pay a city tax.
