Me and my parents spent 4 nights in Hotel Amadeus. It is a small hotel situated near Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Mole Antonellana and Piazza San Carlo among other famous landmarks. The hotel's breakfast is classic continental and includes the following: fresh ham and cheese, croissants, cakes, cereals, fruits, bread etc. In addition to a very satisfying breakfast, the hotel's service is top notch with the staff being always ready to help whenever the need. The rooms are small but clean and very comfortable. Inside the rooms, there is a mini bar, safe and a television. The bathrooms are small but well kept. For someone who is going to travel for a short period of time, this hotel will be a very satisfying accommodation. PS. there is a bus stage round the corner of the hotel (via Po) from where you can pick up bus 61 to go to/from Porta Nuova train station.
Disappointing experience. Very dated and shabby and also very noisy. The woman at the reception scolded me like I was a child when I accidentally left the hotel for the day without handing the key in. Breakfast was good.
Very clean rooms. The personel is very helpful. The reception is very nice. Very nice breakfast with a wondeful coffee and a nice service. Sure we're going back to the hotel newt time we're in torino.
This hotel is centrally located in Turin, which is the best advantage it has. It is also close to a parking, which makes it convenient. Other than that, the hotel is basic and is best for a short stay in Turin, whereby the main purpose is to be out of the hotel and sightseeing the city. At check-in the lady who was supposed to check us in was pretty busy with her personal telephone conversation, so we were lucky that she could make the time to help us. The breakfast buffet is really basic as well. If you have the option to include or exclude breakfast in your booking, you can leave it out as well, and just grab a breakfast in a place outside the hotel.
Just a couple of minutes walk from Via Po, Piazza Vittorio Veneto & the River Poyou couldn't get much closer to the heart of Turin. Plenty of nightlife within a few minutes walk and Parco Valentino is a 15 minute stroll away. Rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is sufficient to start your day. It's not the most glamorous of places but if you want somewhere to spend a few days this fits the bill.
We spent a few days in Torino earlier this month and lived in Amadeus. The staff is super attentive and friendly and almost makes up for the rooms. The aircon was not working in the room we were put in on the 5th floor, and we had a very bad night in a suffocating room. The next day we were given a different room where aircon functioned. The location is really good and the adjoining streets lined with monuments and great eating places, and a great atmosphere at the piazza. Despite our initial reluctance, we will consider this hotel again. Hopefully, the rooms will be spruced up in the meanwhile.
The hotel hallways and staircases look a bit dingy but the room was clean, a decent size, and with a good size bathroom and good shower pressure. The breakfast buffet was mediocre but did the trick. The location is where the hotel really shines - it's minutes walk from most sights and with lots of restaurants, bars, and cafes within seconds of walking. The staff was also very friendly. All in all a decent hotel but nothing special.
It was our first trip to the cold, northern Italian city of Torino. It was our first time in the city and in the entire region of Piedmont. We were uncertain what to expect. We took a taxicab from the very small Turin Airport to the Hotel Amadeus, located a few steps from the Piazza VittorioVeneto on Via Prinicipe Amadeo. From the exterior, the hotel is very unassuming. To step through the door revealed an ultra-modern lobby and a small breakfast area. We checked in, and the hotel staff were all extremely kind and helpful. Being a three-star hotel, it does not have a porter on duty at all times, so we were required to carry our own bags, but that was only a minor inconvenience. The woman on duty at the front desk took us to our room. She seemed very excited. Most of the hotel’s rooms were accessible by the elevator located just off the lobby. Two, however, were accessible from the first floor. The woman opened the door and illuminated what would more accurately be described as an apartment. The room had two levels. The ground floor had a couch, bed, a television, bathroom, table, chairs, and a kitchenette. The second floor had a bed, closet, separate bathroom, table, chairs, a television, and access to a pretty large terrace. The room was massive, very quiet, and pleasantly private. Our favorite surprise about the room was that the shower, with five discrete shower heads, sprayed on you from every direction. The hotel offered a continental breakfast spread that included meats, cheeses, breads, dairy, sweets, and produce. There was one barista who prepared the caffeinated beverages. We ordered cappuccinos, and they were wonderful. Hotel Amadeus was a surprising and unexpected blessing of a place. Everything about the Hotel: the location, the room, the service, was above and beyond our expectations. I could not recommend it more.
Nice hotel in the center of the city the rooms are large enough for a short stay, good bathroom The breakfast has a good variety, but was very sweet. I prefer to find some english breakfast The staff was very friendly and helpfull I would stay here again
Nice little hotel sandwiched between two large piazzas, in the heart of a great shopping and tourist district. Don't let the graffiti in google maps street view discourage you - it is everywhere and has no bearing on the area. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast is amazing! Good, fast Wifi. Wonderful little bar with great music just down the street. The price of the hotel is what attracted us, but we would definitely go back.
