Even tough they are restructuring the entrance hall the atmosphere is classy. The staff friendly and helpful. Our room 425 fully equipped was comfortable. Certainly the bathroom could be improved as is rather small and a bit old style. Breakfast ok. WiFi present everywhere.
The location of Grand Hotel Sitea couldn’t be better; all downtown attractions are within walking distance. This is a charming hotel in an old building. My room was in excellent condition, heating worked really well, clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Service was attentive and staff always very polite. Breakfast was quite good, even though there could be a bit more healthier alternatives.
We were spoilt at the Grand Hotel Sitea by being upgraded to a Junior suite which was spacious, elegant and very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located in Turin and many of the attractions can be reached on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good.
excellent staf, nice rooms, good service; but as you expect from this kind of luxury hotel wth high rates.` Good location, But aslo a littel bit old fashionated. The rooms are a litle bit dated. small bathroom. But nice and quiet room.
Friendly helpful staff, exceptionally clean well appointed rooms, great breakfast with lovely variety of healthy options and centrally located in Turin. Highly recommended for couples and families. We enjoyed one night here in transit to Cervinia but could have happily stayed longer.
This hotel is situated in the centre of the city with everything very accessible. The furnishings in the hotel are lovely as was my room. My room was on the small side but it was only a single. Thought that the staff were very friendly and helpful. Not too keen on the breakfast which I though was very ordinary for a hotel of this class..
It was our first time in Torino but friends highly recommended this hotel so we decided to stay there. I was not disappointed... got upgraded to an apartment which was superb. Great service at all times, friendly staff at the bar and considering position in the centre of town I consider the price to be quite acceptable. Hotel has it's own parking which is very handy if you arrive by car and parking fee is Euro 25.00 which is not bad by Italian standards. PS.The breakfast buffet was great! PPS. Will definitely stay there again if or when I come back.
Our first time in Turin and we were so pleased we booked to stay at the Grand Hotel Sitea. It is a beautiful hotel which feels very intimate. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful - they could not do enough for us. We stayed for two nights in interconnecting rooms which were very impressive. Comfortable beds, large bathrooms and great facilities. The breakfast buffet was superb. A huge range of options and very attentive staff making sure everything looked great and ran smoothly. We had aperitivo in the American bar which was small, but beautifully decorated and again very intimate. The barman was very skilled and seemed to know every cocktail under the sun. I would highly recommend this hotel and if we ever come back to Turin we would not choose to stay anywhere else.
This hotel has very friendly staff and the lobby looks great. The prices at the bar are a bit too high, but not surprising for a grand hotel in the center of Torino. The rooms are not amazing, but acceptable (taking the price and hotel description into consideration). All in all you will get what you pay for.
I stayed here for two nights in Dec 2017. There are a lot of positive aspects about this place, location being the main one. My room (217) was on the floor immediately above the lobby. Late into the night and from the early morning, I was bothered by the sound of footsteps on the marble floors below me. The room was near the marble stairwell, so I was very disturbed by echoing voices coming up & down the stairs. The walls are very thin; I could hear the man in the room next door on the telephone late into the evening. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was serviceable. I was disappointed not find a kettle and tea/coffee making things in my room, but when I complained to reception, they put something there for me. The breakfast buffet looked lovely but looks are deceiving. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and the tea was cold. Stick to coffee and croissants.
