Starting with the positives: (1) close to the city centre, so if you are there for business and your meetings are primarily at governments buildings this is useful, (2) the toiletries are decent and room spacious and bed comfortable and (3) front desk staff pleasant enough. Unfortunately, the hotel even though recently renovated is quite dated! The food and choices very very average, and the hotel lobby bar staff absent . The staff around the two pool areas are too busy playing with their phones rather than offer anything resembling a service. And for the first time ever in my travels in the region and elsewhere, I had a knock at 22:30 on my last evening by housekeeping (or room service) stirring me up from my sleep and presenting me with water and an empty envelope! A very brazen way of asking for a tip! unprofessional and distasteful. And to top this up, I sadly discovered on my last day that some money was removed out of my wallet by housekeeping during a one hour window while I went down for breakfast, which was extremely disappointing and upsetting. Would not wish that on anyone staying here or elsewhere! I informed management and they apparently are looking into this.
Nice business hotel ca 15min from the city center. The rooms are large and very clean and I loved the comfortable bed. They have a proper gym, which was unfortunately very hot and did not seem airconditioned. The hotel staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful. Food quality would need improvement
Wasn't expecting much but they had just recently finished renovation and were in a people perfect shape. Employees that I spoke with in the lounge and the front desk were all pleasant. Internet worked well as did the AC. Got Junior suite upgrade as SPG Platinum member. This would be categorized as full suite at most properties. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if business takes me back to Tunis.
I spent a wonderful 2 days business trip in that picturesque hotel located in the heart of the posh area of Tunis. The bed was incredibly confortable and the room was really spatious. The staff was very reactive and always ready to help. The breakfast was very diversified including some local dishes that my palate still remember. To end up, the outdoor terrace is a must see to spend a wonderful dinner or simply having a drink. I recommand this hotel without any hesitation.
I was there at the beginning of this month for four nights. I loved the confor in rooms and extremely big beds. There are two or three restaurants in the hotel but i prefer the one with the buffet where i ate almost every time. I loved the Tunisian Merguez sausages. There is a well equiped fitness room and a swimming pool where you can enjoy in your journeys!
Front desk team well trained, building and furniture in very nice condition, rooms are nice and spacious, cleaning and room service consistent with the announced level. Restaurants offer 3 possibilities, nice food and service, terrace with a nice view, Gym, swimming pool and health center well equipped. Location requires taxi or rent car. Prices are high to the category and return on services.
Not sure why there is no learning curve here to improve their services. Now it's 12:30 am and they are having a very loud party in the hotel and not making their guests being able sleep. This is very much inappropriate for SPG brand Moreover, you call the guest services and they don't reply. I guess they are either in the party or sleeping. Not recommended
Nice room, high standard, beautiful swimming pools (inside and outside). Very good restaurant, but gym is very small and with no machines, only basic tools. Staff is professional and kind. Pay attention to Ramadan, it's impossible to call a taxi from about 19.30 to 20.30.
Really comfortable hotel, full of amenities and facilities: pools, sauna, hammam, wellness center), check-desk with lounge area at last floor for suites, really appreciated. Rooms are large, well furnished, with minibar and very good WiFi. Really high standard.
Stayed for three nights on business. Good security. Room was okay. Good size. Reasonable shower/bathroom facilities. Limited number of English-speaking tv channels. Wifi okay. Breakfast buffet was very disappointing, given the price of this hotel. Everything looked stale & tired - one of the worst id seen. Not appetising at all. The omelettes were okay. Staff were helpful & friendly enough. Most spoke good English. Checking in & out was average. When I checked out on my last morning I took breakfast at the hotel to do some work before my transport arrived. The receptionist knew I was in the hotel, but my wifi was annoyingly disconnected after 15 minutes. I complained, but was met with a begrudging apology and a shrug of the shoulders. This wasn't a particularly bad experience, but neither was it memorable one. Definitely not 5*. Sleep quality was okay, but overall the hotel just lacked a little spark, some luxury and a bit of life. It had no atmosphere. The breakfast buffet really needs to be looked at.
