With a few maintenance upgrades it would be 5 stars
The property itself isn't in the greatest condition (no fault to owner of this partical unit) but location made up for it.Pros: -AC was really powerful! -Blackout curtains -Size of bed was incredible -hot water! We werent sure if we would have hot water after researching area we were staying in so our expectations were low but this particular unit had an on demand hot water tank so there was endless hot water. Pressure was low to medium as expected. -Location had lots of pros and cons but mostly pros. Was within walking to the greatest restaurants and cafes. Friendly and safe neighborhood -Kitchen could use bowls but otherwise well stocked and was wonderful having a fridge and microwave -Host was great at contacting me before arrival and gave number to contact directly Cons/improvements that could be made:-Dirty shower. Drain was full of grime and dirt and wouldnt drain so had to scrub it ourselves. Corners were in rough condition cleanliness wise.-No hand soap or hand towel (later found a dirty one underneath vanity maid must've missed)-Could use more towels-Not enough pillows on bed-Bed needs an extra blanket. The heavy flat sheet wasn't enough. Had to go to the store and buy a comforter. -Was looking forward to using bath tub but it wasn't plumbed to hot water-Road was so muddy it was hard getting from car to front entry-TV was cracked so line down center-Most uncomfortable bed ever, needs a mattress topperN hand towel or hand soap in kitchen
