Unfortunately Serious Recurrent Issue

We stayed at this property for 8 days for a post-Christmas/New Year holiday. Very good location close to Central Tulum and the beach area but this is where the accolades begin and end. The kitchen plumbing leaked overnight and flooded the first floor in addition the water stopped working so no toilets or showers were available. They did send a maintenance crew to repair the issues and were reassured everything was now fine. Unfortunately this wasn't the case as the water (thus toilets, sinks, and showers) stopped working 2 more times during our 1 week stay. Each time took at least half a day before the issue was resolved. Imagine the hassle of having to rush out of the apartment multiple mornings to find a breakfast place for your kids to eat at and use the bathroom. As if this wasn't bad enough, the water stopped working our final morning of checkout. At this point we were done. We've stayed at a number of short stay rental places and never experienced anything similar to this.
