Every year, from around mid to late June and sometimes into early July, Las Playitas celebrates the traditional San Pedro Festival in honour of the village's patron saint. The main festivities take place directly at the harbour, immediately in front of the property. During these days, live music, dancing and celebrations continue until the early hours of the morning, so a higher level of noise should be expected. Guests looking for complete peace and quiet may prefer to avoid this period. On the other hand, those wishing to experience authentic Canarian village life can enjoy traditional Spanish music, dancing and the warm atmosphere created by the local community right on their doorstep – with only a few steps back to the accommodation after a pleasant evening.
