Best hotel staff I have ever experienced. The facilities are beautiful, the food is excellent, but the wonderful staff is what really makes this hotel stand out above all the rest.

Overall an excellent Ritz Carlton experience in spite of cool AZ January weather. The resort is situated very nicely into its mountain environment. The architecture fits the locale well. Staff excellent. Rooms spacious. Main dining restaurant excellent. Pool areas great. Spa facilites very good. Took advantage of morning fitness classes. 26 miles of hiking trails available out the door. For luxury travel stays, Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain does not disappoint. Negatives: Facility is not close to Tucson if planning dinner off site. Don't use the in room phone. $16 for one 36 second call!

Although everything was great I had requested foam pillows ahead of time and didn't notice till bedtime that they were flat and most likely feather. The ac in the room was very loud and cold. We called to have it looked at but it would take another 2 hours to fix but it was already late at night so we decided to stick it out.

This is a great resort tucked away in an amazing high desert valley. Amenities, especially the pool, are all fantastic!

Beautiful hotel great service when we arrived we were told that our reservation had been cancelled My wife and I were told that the reservation was in my name and the name of a woman I had never heard of. The woman at the reservation desk immediately apologized, corrected the situation, and provided a free upgrade. Everything about the hotel was first class as expected. The hamburgers a Cayton's golf restaurant were outstanding.

The overall ambience of the hotel was spectacular. Beautiful setting, lovely amenities, excellent staff. Loved the staff at the pool this morning - very professional and attentive. However, the bathroom in our room was not really clean - e.g. the water closet set had a lot of grime in one corner that really stood out with the light floors. Ordered a pizza from room service that we returned - it was not cooked through and was just a bit warmer than room temperature. There was a bottle of water and a bottle of vodka missing from the refrigerator, but we were not hassled by the desk - apparently they are monitored by timers.

Got a special package price on *rbitz. The hotel was one of the finest I have stayed in. Very relaxing.

The Ritz is a wonderful spot with first class amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. I would gladly go back and give our experience 5 stars.

Great location and service. Lots of hiking trails start right at the property. Beautiful scenery and the staff is not to be outdone. Mountain bikes are available for rides out into the desert but not up into the hills. A native american flute player performs from a hillside at sunset...very cool.

This was our fifth trip to Tucson and we opted for this hotel due to a great package price. Everything about the place says confident elegance. Unbelievably attentive and polite staff, luxurious rooms and great amenities. We like to explore so we only had a few breakfasts at the hotel but the food was great (although somewhat high priced). The only negative (and this has nothing to do with the hotel and staff) is that you are very far from the city and a large variety of restaurants and attractions. If you don't mind the travel, this is a great place to base your trip.

Ritz gets better & better, differentiate other competitors. Wonderful amenities, cordial staffs, gorgeous foods, etc. We enjoyed long weekend. Recommend waffle of breakfast buffet, best thing we ever taken. We ' ll be back!

The thing that stands out about this hotel is that the staff does everything to make sure you're happy. They never argue with you they only want to make sure you are happy. They take customer service to a new level. The location is beautiful and the hotel offers plenty of activities. You really don't ever have to leave the property. The location is a bit remote, I had a car and had to drive a while before finding other restaurants. The room was very clean, bathroom was amazing. Decent workout facility. The food was good but pricey. I would recommend the guided hikes and take advantage of bikes available for use . Pool was crowded but staff always accommodated you if unable to find a chair. Expensive to stay but I would do it again.

Once you drive into this property you are in awe of the scenery as the resort is surrounded by mountains. The valet service is top notch as is the housekeeping and serving staff at the restaurants. Cayton's should not be missed! My sons said it was the best ice cream shakes they've ever had. The lobby is amazing as it has an open air view of the pool area and mountain. The rooms were spectacular and the turn down service was a great touch. Our only complaint about the place was that if you book through a third party it does not allow you to select a room type. Even though we indicated that 2 adults and 2 children would be in the room (while my wife called to confirm) there was a problem getting a room with two beds. The front desk did as good of a job as you could do to mitigate the situation. But, because of this, I had to give this property 4 stars instead of 5. We will be back, however.

Service was exceptional, food great, loved that hiking trails started directly from the hotel. Definitely plan on going back.

Beautiful hotel with the best staff I've encountered at any Ritz. Endless hiking trails. Great pools for adults and kids. A little remote, but everything you need for a relaxing, outdoors vacation is on site.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at the Ritz. I would have given the hotel a 5-star review in every category. But, I took off one point because I didn't think the bed was amazing, and the water pressure also wasn't great (but water was always plenty hot). Also, the location from our perspective was 5 star - but we're hikers and we enjoyed the beauty and relative isolation. It definitely is not near a lot of exciting things to do - even movie theaters - so for some people, the location is a negative.

All the staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our package included breakfast each morning and the hot buffet was wonderful and had everything you would want to eat. Our package included $100 hotel credit each day which made the price not so pricey. Overall the spa part was very cool. Ate dinner one night at the Core restaurant and it was all delicious. The hiking trails around the resort were well marked and the saguaros along the trails were awesome. The decor and resort layout was elegantly done. Do not have one complaint about the resort and we loved the french press coffee.

We had a great stay, the hotel exceeded our expectations.
