Sæteråsen Huts

Excellent location and great value. Just 10 minute drive from Touristsentret and the slopes. The groomed and tracked cross country trails start from the edge of the car park. The hosts were helpful and friendly despite our late arrival. They personally dropped in on our cabin to make sure we had everything we needed and told us exactly where to go to beat the queues to buy a lift pass and where the best skiing was for the conditions. The hut was more spacious than the pictures and thankfully warm despite the car reading -22 when we pulled in. Bathroom and shower facilities are a short walk away, not a massive issue but getting fully clothed in winter gear at 3am was a new experience! The huts are well equipped and had everything you needed to cook a meal and make a coffee. There’s also an additional kitchen in the main block with an oven and microwave. There’s also washing and drying facilities in the shower room and there’s a large lounge that was open and we managed to get some work done with the free Wi-fi. The were only two negatives we encountered, the shower room was quite cold and the showers themselves weren’t the strongest. The other was when we first filled our water bottles the water was a little yellow, although it was fine after letting it run for a couple of seconds. Given how much the surrounding hotels in Trysil charge, this place is genuinely unbeatable if you’re looking for a budget ski trip.

Nöjd med vårt boende. Trevligt bemötande. Boendet motsvarade förväntningarna. Det var inte nytt, det var inte flashigt, det var vad vi betalde för. Trevlig och enkel stuga campingstuga. Toalett och disk i servicehuset. Trots minus 18, så var stugan varm och skön. Vägarna var bra skottade. Inget att klaga på. Vi fick vad vi betalde för.

Fjällsemester med familjen

Mysig stuga, enkelt och spartanskt men enligt förväntningarna. Det var -21 grader ute men det var inget problem. Vi fick planera toalettbesöken då det var en liten bit att gå till badrummen. Bra utrustat pentry och allt man behöver för enklare matlagning fanns i stugan. Värden var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam, hon gjorde vår vistelse till ett oförglömligt minne. Tack!

Stannade bara kort för övernattning. Helt klart ett ställe för vinteraktiviteter och inte för sommaren men priset avgjorde för vår del. Mycket mygg/knott så kunde inte nyttja utemiljön som vi ville då det fanns blåbär mellan stugorna. Lång väg mellan stugan och toaletten.
