Gorgeous hotel. Room was just perfect, whoever designed it knew exactly what they were going. Lighting, sockets, decoration, bathroom, furniture - all perfect. Even 2 comfortable chairs, that hardly ever happens in a hotel room, thereā€™s normally just 1. Reception staff helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent, varied choice and plentiful portions.

Yes the room was spotless, just two lamp shades were peeling. The staff were courteous and very helpful throughout our stay (they went the extra mile) and our room was very warm, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was of high quality and cooked fresh to order but for the high number of staff, all of whom were very polite, the service and clearance of plates could have been quicker.

We had a very comfortable quiet stay . Nice to stay in a heritage building, walkable to Truro city centre. Helpful, friendly staff. I appreciated having my "gift" changed from a fizzy bottle to a house wine bottle.

Bed was so comfortable. Room spacious and well equipped but maybe could go without the huge wardrobe for an easy place to charge phone. Problem with the curtains that the hotel corrected straight away - impressive. Google maps takes the car round the back to a wrong area but there is an easy entrance around the front. Nice to have breakfast waitered to table but maybe have water on table when you first sit down as delays to get anything else if hotel busy. Location good - 10 minutes walk into Truro. All in all tho a nice hotel and a stunning building.

Room was nice, overlooking the garden. Reception team weren't that friendly but the restaurant/bar staff were great. Room next door were having an almighty slanging match, not the hotels issue as it was after a wedding in the hotel that day.
