Vacasa, the management company of this home, has poor communication and the check-in process took over 2 hours as it failed when I first uploaded my ID. We were stuck outside the house till 2am after a long day of travel. They then asked me to verify my identity and I was forced to answer some very personal identifying questions like the kind used when you apply for a loan to buy a house. Previous addresses, etc. Vacasa asked for a 5 star review, but after I told them my experience, they didnt seem to care to make it right. So to the next guest: be prepared for a potentially frustrating waste of time checking in. If you book this house, you will enjoy staying there. Its a nice home, the beds need stronger bedframes, but it had everything needed to host us comfortably and I would definitely stay there again, but only if there was a way to bypass Vacasa. Also the owners should put a sign on the stairs or switch to a more grippy carpet on the stairs since they are non-standard and smaller than normal code requirements and my brother slipped and fell down the stairs on the first night there. Now that the lesson was learned we were extremely careful on the stairs.

Disappointing at best

This property had many challenges, but the biggest disappointment was the quality of the property. The first night we arrived, as soon as we laid down in the master bedroom, the bed broke. I immediately contacted the property manager who said they would contact us when they could fix the issue. After 16 hours we still heard nothing. I contacted them again and they asked that I “kindly be patient”. Meanwhile friends of our had to find somewhere else to stay and the master bedroom was never usable. We never heard from anyone again. The TV was horrible, barely had any volume. The couch was the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on. The heating was complicated, the only way to heat the home well is by fire, but we had to buy supplies to use it. The best part of this property was the third party person that was hired to shovel the walk way and driveway. He was very helpful regarding navigating the area.

Pleasant Cabin

My husband and I and our three kids (8, 5, and 1) stayed here for two nights. The hot tub was in excellent condition. The place was very clean and accurate to the photos we saw online. When we arrived, the lockbox didn’t seem to work, but a quick phone call to vacasa got us in the house. The beds weren’t the comfiest, but only us creaky adults noticed. The house was a very convenient location. The checkout procedures were reasonable and all information needed was easy to find either around the house or on the vacasa app. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.
