This home was perfect for our group of two families. The kitchen/living area is beautiful and the views out the huge windows are amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. It is a very quiet residential neighborhood so I don’t recommend it if you have a noisy group that plans on partying loudly.

Our group of 8 friends had a lovely stay at Royal Zen over the Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was a great set up to cook a holiday dinner in and the house provided ample space to spend time together or retreat to our own quiet spaces if needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fireplace and kept warm and cozy. Definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again!

Overall very nice house with beautiful property backing to pine forest for nearly complete privacy. The house is spacious with nice size bedrooms. Kitchen and Great Room have plenty of comfortable seating. Hot tub is spotless as well as new gas grill. It’s about 35 min to Kings Beach House is lived in and could use some updating and repairs. Nothing that impacted the stay but would rate this 8 of 10 in terms of overall quality.

Very peaceful & wonderful stay! House is very nice as described. Convenient 10-15 min to down town Truckee. We were in from Northern VA. for a family wedding. It was nice to have enough beds and en suites for all of us:) pre teen to 76. House is nicely equipped with Kitchen necessities. This home has everything you'll need for a relaxing, quiet stay. We've never seen such a fully equipped kitchen - made for seamless cooking and baking. AMAZING home in Truckee!

Ten of us went up to Truckee for a ski weekend and LOVED this house so much. It is wonderfully laid out with amazing communal spaces. The kitchen was awesome for cooking at home (with two dishwashing machines!) and we had many cozy nights in front of the fireplace. Amazing home, great decor, perfect communal spaces. I can't recommend it enough!

The best getaway

Beautiful cabin!! The cabin was as great as the description: clean, spacious, beautiful, and well stocked! We especially loved the big kitchen that had every thing we needed. The big windows provided plenty of natural light. The cabin sits on a big lot so it was nice to be able to walk around in the back. There is a trail behind the house that we were able to go on for a snow walk. The cabin has a huge family room on the 2nd floor, which was really great for our infant daughter. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We plan on coming back in the future!

Beautiful property and responsive hosts

This home is exactly as pictured. Our family had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and ready for us at check in. The book with instructions for the home and suggestions for the neighborhood was complete and helpful. The property manager Kristin was very quick with communication. There were no issues with the home. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The only issue was with VRBO. It takes 3 weeks after the end of the rental to receive the security deposit credited back to the form of payment. Putting that here so it’s not a surprise for anyone and hopefully saves you the time I spent trying to figure that out with VRBO.

Ski Trip

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was very spacious and nicely decorated. The great room is like a cathedral with floor to ceiling windows and is a wonderful gathering space for groups. The area is private and peaceful. We stayed here during an extreme snow storm so it was a little difficult to navigate some of the private roads leading to the house that were not plowed as often as the public roads but we managed to ski every day. The owner and manager were very responsive to our needs during our stay.
