The Space:

Welcome to your Tahoe Donner retreat, a spacious and inviting 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin set directly on the scenic Tahoe Donner Golf Course. With 2,650 sq. ft. of thoughtfully designed living space, this home blends mountain elegance with everyday comfort, creating the perfect base for relaxation, recreation, and year-round adventure. Multiple decks wrap the home in natural light and forest views, while the open-concept main level provides an ideal gathering space. Here, guests can unwind around the 60" flat-screen TV or step outside for outdoor dining surrounded by the pines.



The large, flat driveway offers easy year-round access and has plenty of room for a wakeboard boat, making summer lake days effortlessly convenient. Guests also enjoy access to the coveted Tahoe Donner Private Beach Club on Donner Lake, a major perk for boating, swimming, and lakeside lounging with amenities that truly enhance the stay.



Inside, the primary suite on the main level features a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom. Downstairs, a junior primary suite offers another queen bed and its own ensuite bath, creating a comfortable layout for two couples or multi-generational families. A third bedroom includes a queen bed, while the fourth bedroom—a cozy bunk room—is perfect for kids. A full bathroom located off the hallway near the laundry area completes the lower level.

During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some of Tahoe Donner’s most popular private amenities, including the Beach Club Marina on Donner Lake, Trout Creek Recreation Center, the Northwoods Pool, and the Tennis & Pickle ball Center. These spaces give guests the chance to enjoy lakeside lounging, swimming, fitness, boating, and racquet sports in a peaceful, members-only environment. To help make your experience smooth and enjoyable, please review the following guidelines around guest cards, access fees, reservations, and blackout dates.



Access to these private amenities is provided through Short-Term Tenant Cards, which function as guest passes during your stay. Each card grants access for one individual (ages 3 and older) per day, and all private amenities require a daily access fee. The guest cards allow up to six guests to enter on the same day. If your group includes more than six guests hoping to visit private facilities at the same time, please arrange this with your host in advance so proper reservations can be made. This ensures that Tahoe Donner can accommodate your group and honor the association’s capacity limits.



For 2025, the daily access fees are as follows: guests ages 7 and older are $24 per person per day, children ages 3 to 6 are $10 per person, and infants ages 0 to 2 are free. These fees apply at all private amenities, including the Beach Club Marina, Trout Creek Recreation Center, the Tennis and Pickle ball Center, and the seasonal Northwoods Pool.



The Beach Club Marina, located on the east end of Donner Lake, provides a beautiful, private setting for swimming, paddle boarding, boating, and lakeside dining at the Marina Grill. Its hours vary by season, with extended summer hours between May and early September, and slightly reduced hours into early fall. Guests should note the marina’s policies: no pop-up tents over six feet tall, no reserving chairs, and no dogs except service animals.



Trout Creek Recreation Center offers a full fitness center, pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and a playground. During peak periods—particularly major holidays—reservations may be required. Northwoods Pool, with its family-friendly atmosphere, water slide, and kids’ area, is open seasonally. Tennis and pickleball courts are also available, and guests may request daily court reservations through the host.



Please be aware that Tahoe Donner observes blackout dates during high-demand holidays when Short-Term Tenant Cards cannot be used at private amenities. These blackout periods include Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend (Jan 17–19), Presidents’ Day Weekend (Feb 14–16), Memorial Day Weekend (May 23–25), the Fourth of July period (July 1–5), Labor Day Weekend (Sept 5–7), Thanksgiving (Nov 26–29), and the Christmas–New Year’s holiday stretch (Dec 24–Jan 3). Outside of these dates, guest access is available approximately 332 days per year.



The Short-Term Tenant Cards provided for your stay are valid for the current calendar year and must be returned at checkout. Lost or unreturned cards carry replacement fees through Tahoe Donner, so please keep them in a safe location during your stay.



It’s also important to note that many Tahoe Donner amenities are open to the public year-round and do not require guest cards or access fees. These include the Cross Country Ski Center, Downhill Ski Resort, Tahoe Donner Golf Course, Alder Creek Adventure Center, Bikeworks, Equestrian Center, Snow play, all open hiking trails, restaurants, and public events.



By understanding these guidelines in advance—especially the reservation requirement for groups larger than six and the listed blackout dates—you’ll be able to enjoy Tahoe Donner’s amenities smoothly and without interruption.
