The home is in a quiet lake community, only a five minute walk to Donner Lake. You will often see neighbors walking around and enjoying the peaceful area, and we look forward to welcoming you into this warm and inviting community during your stay.

Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of a few locked spaces.

A Message From The Owners: We are close to the west end beaches, in the flat west end neighborhood which is great for kids (bike riding, playing, scootering etc.). A quick drive to downtown Truckee, much closer to the bay area vs driving to Lake Tahoe. It took us 5 years of looking at real estate at Donner Lake for us to find our forever family cabin. We plan to keep this home in our family for many generations.

Due to an allergy in our family, we unfortunately cannot permit service animals in the home.

Outdoor furniture may not be available in the winter months (October - May).

STR Permit # 1172 | Maximum Overnight Occupancy (Adults 13+): 8 | 3 Parking Spaces | Truckee’s STR Rules Listed in House Rules/Rental Agreement | Anytime a pet/service animal/emotional support animal is outside of the home and is not in a fully fenced backyard, the pet/service animal/emotional service animal must be kept on a leash and accompanied by the owner.
