Welcome to the getaway of your dreams! This family and kid-friendly retreat, just three miles from Donner Memorial State Museum, offers guests great privacy and a prime location within a short distance of all that Tahoe/Truckee has to offer. This dog-friendly home has been updated with nice and modern decor, however, it still has that rustic charm that will keep you coming every year. The main living area is located on the second floor of the home, offering an open floor plan seamlessly combining all three major living spaces - the kitchen, living room, and dining area. Prepare delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and two coffee makers (12-Cup drip and Keurig). When mealtime comes around, gather at the seven-person dining table for the feast! The kitchen island provides three more spaces just in case. Then, let the dishwasher take care of the post-meal clean-up and snuggle in front of the gas fireplace for an entertaining and cozy evening at home streaming everyone's favorite movie or show. Feeling competitive? Pull out any of the board games and let the games begin! From the living/dining areas, you will have direct access to the deck, equipped with a gas grill for warm-weather barbecues.

The second floor of the home hosts two bedrooms - one being the main bedroom with a smart TV, desk, and primary bathroom and a guest bedroom with another smart TV. The laundry room offers endless convenience with a washer/dryer combo. Upstairs, the loft offers a tranquil space to read, take naps, or work on your homework using the desk. There is a secluded bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is a $17 per person/per day fee to access the Tahoe Donner complex amenities. Pricing is subject to change and the fee is paid at Tahoe Donner.
There is a double sofa bed in the loft
Guests are required to bring their own K-Cups and ground coffee for the coffee maker.
The driveway has a steep slope down towards the garage, please use caution when accessing this driveway in the winter. It may be icy and slippery.
All three TVs are Roku TVs. Streaming TV is only available at this home. No cable.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Security camera details: There is an active camera above the garage.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
