This is a large modern hotel quite a way outside of Trondheim, although the bus stop is only over the road and takes only 20mins to reach the city centre. I stayed with my wife and 15yr old son in a family room - he had a mezzanine style bunk bed above our bed which was pretty cool. Bathroom, shower and room was modern and v clean. The breakfast buffet was enormous with loads of choice. The bar area/reception also had a free shuffleboard and other fun games which we enjoyed. Would’ve liked to have been closer to the city centre, but a short-ish bus ride wasn’t bad. There are two big shopping centres around the hotel with fast-food style restaurants. If you’re ok with being so far out of town, stay here because it is v nice and reasonably priced.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Property has a faded quality approaching gentile poverty. The upstair living area is a no-go area if you are elderly or have knee/hip issues The door locking procedure when you leave the room should have been explained at check-in

No AC in the room we were given made sleeping hard. The window opened but there was a bush road below. The room was relatively old. The area was a commercial area that was taken over by motorized young people racing one and other on the shopping mall parking lot. If you book make sure you get a room in the New part. I won’t be staying here again.
