We were lucky to get upgraded to a master suite which was very welcome. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was vast with something for everyone. The hotel is in a convenient place with pick up for Northern Lights tours just outside along with airport buses. Close to many restaurants and shops too. Decor is starting to be on the verge of a need of a refresh but still looks nice on the whole.

The hotel is very well located with a view of the harbor and easy access to the downtown area. It's a great place to spend the night before flying out since it's close to the airport (well, most of Tromso is close to the airport. it's very small).

The hotel location is perfect for all the activities, there's taxi, bus ,boat or walk towards downtown. I like my hotel room is cozy & clean. This was are only BAD experience during two excellent weeks in Norway. I made a silly error by booking (and paying in advance for) the wrong week for our 3 night stay. I immediately realised my error and contacted them to ask to move our reservation forward one week. Rooms were available but I was told NO, it is a non-cancellable booking. Hard to believe. The booking agent, Expedia, were told the same thing, so I lost a lot of money. A dreadful approach to customer relationships. Just a shameless money grab. Avoid.

Location is good. If you can get a room with a view that is nice. After that things start to go down hill. Parking is limited and expensive if you get a spot. Service is OK at best for front desk. Service at the restaurant is awful and dinner there was terrible. There are much better hotels close by for same price range but better quality and service.

Wonderful hotel for a stay in Tromsø. Very clean, helpful staff, and in a prime location. Views from our room were spectacular - we spent an afternoon gazing out and reading our books. Plenty of breakfast options that set us up for the day. Super easy access to/from the airport as the Airport Express bus stops directly outside. Cannot fault this hotel, we'll definitely be back one day!

Absolutely love this place. Ideal location for scenic views of the fjords and mountains, birding, walkable sight-seeing, dining, etc. Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Highly recommend.
