Nice friendly staff as always at Radisson blu Hotels. Nice buffet breakfast, clean comfortable rooms and a great location. The Tromso safari tours and in the Hotel Reception so all your trips can be booked with ease and pick up is outside the hotel.

We signed up for a business conference and attended part of it, and then enjoyed many business meetings with good prospects. The hotel was centrally located, provided an excellent breakfast, was comfortable, and provided a good value. The attached restaurant was excellent; we reviewed it separately. It is quite likely that we’ll return.

This hotel is very, very basic. The rooms are tiny and the hotel appears to be lacking double, queen size or king size beds. For the NOK1800+ a night, one should expect more, at least larger rooms and much, much larger bathrooms! The personnel ranged from welcoming and helpful to careless, ‘not my problem’, and visually bored. One good thing about the venue was good breakfast, which was getting busy and the kitchen was running short of teapots, cups and other utensils.

Had a great start, very friendly staff at check in. Got an upgrade thanks to my Club Carlson card. Nice, renovated room. Nice sauna with a window to enjoy the mountains. Ordinary breakfast. I like the environmental touch when they offer to email the receipt at check out! More should do that. Airport bus right outside the hotel.

Nice enough hotel ideally located on the waterfront and easy walking distance to the main attractions in town. Airport bus drops off/picks up directly outside which we found a quicker transfer than cab from airport. Had a nice enough room overlooking the water as we upgraded to 'Business' as celebrating birthday weekend although we had booked a double bed through Expedia and the request had failed to get through to the hotel - hotel was unable to change despite numerous requests which did spoil the weekend slightly. Breakfast was excellent although a bit unorganised as seating is a free for all and can get busy - so need to be quick to bag a table (if there are any spare). Could also upgrade the 2 piece toaster for 100+ people. Lobby can get busy as many trips collect direct from hotel. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Room (714) was well appointed and additional kettle was furnished on request.

Just got back from a Monday to Friday stay at this hotel. Visit was to celebrate a birthday and view the Northern lights. Hotel location is excellent and we were given a very pleasant welcome by a mature lady on reception who had upgraded our room because of a birthday. She was also extremely helpful in providing information on the hotel facilities and local attractions. Our room was on the 9th floor but had a great view of the water and cable car beyond. Basically furnished but clean, warm and good shower. Part of the hotel is a pub just around the corner called the Rubelo I think. Live music and good beer - Norway prices :( Breakfast was good and if you're a healthy eater type of person, you'd love it. The hotel foyer is usually busy with tourists awaiting Northern Lights tours but its not a problem. We would happily stay here again. Price was also reasonable.

Stayed here for four nights for my birthday weekend. Room was comfortable and warm, staff were really friendly & the breakfasts were amazing. Hotel is on the waterfront & Tromsø Safari operate from the lobby. One waiter stood out for us, a Greek guy called Bill who was exceptional, but they were all very helpful

We stayed at the Radisson Blu for 3 nights, the location and staff are excellent, staff were excellent and could not do enough for you. The rooms were lovely clean and tidy, I was very disappointed on the amount of storage, as we have lots of arctic clothing with us, there was no where to put it. They have limited TV channels and all the movies are 99 nok. My biggest shock and disappointment was breakfast, they had a twin slice toaster that took ages, this was a single toaster for all the guests, it was truly pathetic. Things got worse everything was always cold, from the bacon to the egg, if you was hoping for a hot breakfast before going outside in the cold forget it. On our second morning we were the first in the restaurant and it was stone cold, it was constantly cold all the time, thought it was disgusting they could not provide a hot breakfast.

We booked a suite in this hotel january 2028 to view the Northern Light. What disappointment this hotel was. In our suite we could not get up the room temperature while it was freezing hard outside. While not producing much warmth the heater was very very noisy which made sleeping undisturbed very difficult. In addition we could hear very loud and clear guests working out in the gym above our heads. Glad we only booked one night.

An easy place to stay at. The staff are good at getting you checked in and are friendly when you have questions. Rooms on the water side appear newer and are larger. They are a bit stark but comfortable. Breakfast has a good selection of foods, lacking a variety of fresh fruits, but cheese, breads, .... all very good. The location is the best part of staying at the Radisson.
