I have Stayed here before and liked the hotel. Good beds, nice rooms with trim room and a nice sauna. But the biggest reason I booked the hotel this time was the outside Jacuzzi. And I was realy disappointed when I noticed that it was broken. So please fix the Jacuzzi before my next stop in Tromsø.

Typical Scandinavian hotel. A bit small if I'm honest but clean and modern. Good size bathroom with walk in shower. Evening snacks and waffles as well! Good Scandinavian breakfast. Hotel in great harbour side location as well!

We stayed for a week. The hotel is very comfortable albeit not particularly characterful. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent and even though there isn't much choice for the evening meal we enjoyed all of them. The location is ideal and close to all meeting places for tours and trips out. We had a suite which was a lovely room with a good view over the harbour.

The hotel is centrally located. It is quiet and clean. The breakfast is fine. The rooms are quite small and warm. There was no closet in our room to store clothing. The hotel is somewhat dated. At the time of our stay the jacuzzi did not work.

My husband and I were booked here as part of a tour and were apprehensive given the fact that we typically stay in luxury hotels and some of these reviews are not so great. We were pleasantly surprised. It's a very good choice for a night or two. The location is excellent, the room is small but clean and has a very functional layout. We didn't try the dinner but the breakfast was great for our needs. We stayed at the Scandic later in the week and I much preferred the Clarion Aurora. The Scandic was so crowded and busy that we couldn't even get breakfast at 8am and because all the tours pick up there it was a zoo day and night. The Clarion was quiet and comfortable. We saw the Northern Lights right outside on 2 of our 3 nights in Tromso.

Good location by harbour and good facilities including a hot tub outside on the roof with great views. Room was comfortable although a bit dark as lights by bed didn’t throw out much light. No frig provided. Our window had a view of the building next door. Breakfast, afternoon tea and evening buffet meal are included in the room rate. Breakfast had a good selection. However for afternoon tea only one waffle machine so long queues so we didn’t bother. Nothing else provided apart from hot drinks. Evening meal was o.k. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and pleasant although they were rushed off their feet.

I stayed here for 4 nights with a friend Feb 2018. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the airport which cost 200Kr. The welcome was warm from the reception staff. The room was large, we had a twin, with a tv (but only had 3 channels) desk chair and coffee table. The bathroom had underfloor heating which was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast, waffles and evening meal was all nice. The queue for the afternoon waffles often got quite large, maybe an investment into another waffle maker would be a good idea. The relaxation area on the 5th floor is nice, lovely view from the sauna. The hot tub was out of order for all of our stay which was really disappointing as it was a big selling point for us to choose this hotel. The views are stunning of the harbour and bridge. The location in very central, very close to the Radisson Blu which is a meeting point for lots of trips and excursions. There are many good restaurants and coffee shops close by. There was a luggage room to leave the cases on our last day. All staff very friendly and polite, hotel and facilities very clean and modern.

Well kept rooms with enough space. Beds were comfortable and heating worked well. The hotel serves tea/coffee and pancakes before dinner (all included in room cost) which are both good. The breakfast and dinner was good quality and variety. Check in and out was easy and staff were friendly and helpful. Free internet worked well. Hotel is well located within walking distance to town attractions and on the harbour which is scenic.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to find. The included dinner has lots of choice; as a vegetarian I was well catered for. Breakfast was also good with lots of filling, healthy and tasty choices, though the bread could have been replenished more often. The room was a decent size, quiet and clean. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of action during our stay, as that would have been a nice extra point of difference.

We spent out nights in Clarion The Edge, so we can't review the hotel. But a local guy recommended the bar at Aurora, because there should be the only bartender who is able to make cocktails... We didn't believe in that, but tried... And we were wrong. The Bar is not that beautiful and there is no view outside of the bar at all (compared to the edge skybar). But we had the best cocktails at the aurora bar during our one week stay in Tromsø. Prices are not high and not low... We can't remember the name of the bartender clearly... Must be Ivan, Ivar or something similar... 5 Points to the aurora bar, just because of it's cocktails, drinks and the very friendly and attentive bartender.
