The 1st Street Cottage in Downtown Trinidad is perfect for you to unwind and enjoy the music, art, and sights of Trinidad. This 1950s home was recently renovated with a new kitchen and bath, spacious living area, relaxing outdoor space, and decorated with an art-deco and mid-century flair.

No need to drive a car once you are here! Just a block from Trinidad's historic downtown, this cottage is directly behind Space to Create Trinidad and within walking distance of Cimino Park, Main St. art galleries, museums, shopping, restaurants, bars, Trinidad National Historic District's Baca House and Bloom Mansion, and the Purgatoire River. Trinidad businesses have appropriate distancing in place. Most dining and shopping locations have takeout and curbside pickup available.

The Cottage is a quick 10-minute ride to the Trinidad Lake State Park with paddleboarding, kite-boarding, fishing, hiking, biking, and boating. Be sure to bring your own gear. No rental companies yet! At the end of the day, there is no better way to finish the evening than with a delicious dinner and glass of wine at one of the many restaurants just minutes away.

The Cottage is immaculately cleaned and disinfected using CDC and VRBO guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our cottage allows you to leave all your worries behind and spend all of your energy on one of the up-and-coming destinations in Colorado.

This home is "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels, and linens. Hand, dish, and shower soaps are provided as well as TP, trash bags, coffee, and filters. Bring your own toiletries. We stock enough supplies to get you started, but if you have an extended stay you may need to purchase additional supplies.

******Accidental Damage Protection coverage up to $500 per reservation for accidental damage to the property.

Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, quiet hours, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations, and laws. Any evidence of smoking in the home, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved over-occupancy or pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from a violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement. Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and 50% refund for cancellations 14 days prior.
