This is a small hotel in a larger building, so it is a bit difficult to find and enter; instructions and an entry code are sent in advance but you have to follow them carefully. The street is pedestrian-only so taxis can't come to the front door. The reception desk isn't always occupied, but when it is the receptionist is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good and there are nearby shops and restaurants. The room was cozy (read "tiny") but adequate and the bed was comfortable. We were there only one night on the way to board a cruise ship, so all we really needed was a bed, a shower and breakfast.

Choose this when visiting Trieste

Great boutique style bed and breakfast. The place is better than the feel you get just looking the pictures. The rooms are big and cozy. You'll get a bit home-like feeling. Excellent staff that helps you whenever needed.

Quirky but convenient and comfortable

Just an overnight stop but very good all round. Centrally located with most sights and transport links within walking distance . Quite stylish decor and very comfortable. The only downside was the forbidding large and empty entrance hall, with a rickety old lift and dark staircase, but once you were on the first floor all was well.

The hotel and the room are very nice, give you a nice small European hotel feel. Short walk to the Ponte Rossi and the Piazza Unita d’Italia. Small little entry lobby to sit or use computer. Coffee provided in room. Bathrooms updated and quite nice. Eva, who was at the desk during desk hours, was delightful and very helpful. I definitely would stay here again.

Pleasant Boutique Apartment

Staff was very attentive calling us directly ensuring we knew where to find the hotel. We arrived late in the evening to lightly playing classical music and a room which had the air conditioning already cooling the sleeping area. (This was a big positive as many places in italy dont have AC or keep it off to conserve energy.)

Excellent choice

This is an excellent choice if you're visiting Trieste. Well-located, well-managed and good value. If you are arriving by car, make sure you know how to get to the parking lot before you arrive, otherwise you risk getting lost! (I did not have a GPS, only a badly photocopied map...)
