The positive - location was good. Very near railway station and just a short walk to Treviso Centro. The breakfast wasn't bad at all. The room has the basic facilities that are required - with good powerful air-conditioning! Overall however, the hotel was a little old and run-down. And with just a place for breakfast and no dining places, also hardly any porter service, i don't think it should be labelled a 4-star hotel. Maybe just 3-star. The receptionists were quite courteous but not seemingly friendly. It could have a bit more personal touch.
Booked for my wifes 40th birthday location to train station excellent, hotel rude , we was awaken early morning with building work on the 6 th floor which we was not informed of i suffer from heart disease so the stress increased my problem, no apology or anything hence the title of review , shame.
Stayed here for 1 night with my husband. Lovely hotel in beautiful town. Breakfast was very good for the price we paid. Staff friendly (except 1 guy on reception, not very friendly, not helpful, no smiling), other 2 receptionists were nice and friendly! The only negative for us was that parking was far from hotel, had to walk 10 min on the rain.
The family room was two combined double rooms. Perfect and with private door between. The standard is a bit old and the interior looks a bit torn at times. However the rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was quite ok. The fair price together with the good location, close to old town, made it worth the visit.
We flew into Treviso on Ryan Air and just needed and overnight stay nearby. Our biggest mistake was not asking the hotel to send a taxi as there are very few available at the Treviso airport. Next biggest mistake was not staying at least a day in Treviso. This hotel is in an easy walking distance to the city center and just 2 blocks from the train station. The town still has part of the old wall, some really nice cafes and restaurants among some very pretty historic places to see. Hospitality was very good, room was large with separate sleeping space for our 3rd person. Very clean with mini fridge in the room. Wonderful breakfast included.
It takes 5 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel. A good thing, as the train is good to travel with. Takes 10 minutes to walk to the city centre. The service in the hotel is really bad. No free breakfast. They say they have air condition, but it hardly doesn`t work. And they are no willing to fix it. So I would not recommend to stay here during summer! The wifi is really bad. Outside the hotel there was a lot of fighting, but otherwise it seemed safe. The hotel is all over okay. There is not a lot of hotels to choose from in Treviso.
My three rules for a hotel: affordable, clean, and comfortable. Hotel Continental met all 3 expectations. This hotel has an old world feeling with no frills. The breakfast was okay, but I personally didn't see anything that I really wanted. The location is nice and it's a 10m walk to the main city center. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Landed after a long and exhausting flight. Very polite and caring personnel. Clean and sufficiently spacious room. Bathroom was ok though air exchange should be improved... Pleasant continental breakfast with a courteous waiter. Public parking available at a reasonable fee (council led). Strategically placed at walking distance from railway station and city centre. Good value for money overall.
The best thing about this hotel is its location. Nestled in the heart of Treviso, everything is a short and pleasurable walk away. As I have remarked upon previously, you cannot compare a quaint hotel such as this with four or five star properties in, for example, Venice. It would pale in comparison. However, taken for what it is, this hotel is fine. The staff were perfectly polite and helpful. The bedroom was basic but the bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was certainly more spacious than the one I had had on my previous stay. The buffet breakfast was light but for someone like me who does not normally eat a huge breakfast, this was fine. There was not really anything else by way of amenities or facilities worth commenting on. Overall, a pleasant stay.
A nice hotel with a good location. Nearby to both the train station, city center and easy to access with car, and parking was available just outside on the street. Fresh and clean rooms, a bit simpler than I thought from the pictures but still good. Continental breakfast buffé, which was ok.
