The place was charming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. It was my birthday, so I was delighted. The only downside was that the pictures on the website didn’t match the room I received . But other than that, it was an amazing experience.

I had this trip booked for more than one month ahead. I did ask them to put a sign in room but they did not do that when it came time. I stayed in Room 9 (right in front of pool and did not come with the bathtub)But I enjoyed myself with the views. They had clean towels and friendly services. PROS: spectacular beautiful views in the rainforest overlooking ilopango lake, the free breakfast room service (only 1 plate and 1 drink pp) It’s a popular hotel so gets busy on the weekends, and it’s away from the city life. You can text via WhatsApp on the dining services. The staff are so nice. They keep the hotel clean and have many people around to help. There are reliable drivers they recommend for $35 to go to airport. They had TV channels in Spanish and English. CONS: STEEP terrain- mountain side. No elevator. Kinda dangerous pathways if not careful on going up or down steep stairs/ramps. You WILL get bit by bugs & there will be spiders/bugs that will come into your room/bags. I think they need to fog a bit more in the areas. You’ll have to pay a driver to drive out more than 45-60 min to go into city since it is a far stay. Not much to do other than ATV/dine at their restaurant, try to walk to other cafe in the area. Restaurant/Staff at hotel/Front desk closes early like 6pm and lights are out. Super dark in the area so nothing to do than to stay inside after dark. The weather can be a bit scary, loud rain & thunder at night.

I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Las Tres Piedras. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and the views are absolutely stunning, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of El Salvador. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor, making every meal something to look forward to. The location is peaceful, and the weather was perfect during my visit. Overall, a wonderful place with top-notch hospitality. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay here. The staff are extremely helpful, Ernesto is amazing. They were able to arrange transportation and tours for us as well. Our lake tour guide Carlos was really cool as well. Breakfast was included and very well prepared, and the lunch and dinner menu's had a great variety and were very delicious. The fresh baguettes were amazing. The hotel is a little far from the city, but it was only about 30mins driving. Its a small boutique hotel, so they don't have microwaves in the rooms, which if you are staying awhile can be a little annoying. It is located in a jungle, which I liked, but can take so getting used to by non-outdoorsy people. The views from the hotel of the lake are some of the amazing I've ever seen. Overall, it was an extremely enjoyable time and i highly recommend staying here. Great location, great people, great food, and an all around great time.

The Hotel and location are absolutely beautiful, if you don't mind being far from the city than this is the place you want to stay. The property manager Betina is so nice and helpful as well as all the rest of the staff. The rooms are beautiful but it looks like they are still working on them. Unfortunately i chose the wrong time to go, its rainy season and I'm terrified of thunder, sinxe this is right on top of the mountain you can really see and hear the thunder. But in the day the weather is perfect. The staff makes sure that they keep the place looking clean and sharp. The only issue i had was with the room i chose with Expedia, they show pictures of the best rooms but stick you in the small rooms don't get me wrong, every single room has an amazing view of Lago Ilopango. Having breakfast with an amazing view. Free delicious breakfast! There are also otger amazing restaurants in the same route. Carretera panoramica.
