Fabulous

We received a really warm welcome and were shown around the property on the way to the room. So much character but the rooms were in excellent condition. Parking on site...but if you are on motorbikes be aware the parking is gravelled and on a hill, but we didn't really find it too much of a problem. Fabulous stay and would recommend.

Authentic Gem in Le Marche!

What a dream it was staying at Castello di Monterado! The grounds are stunning, Orlando and Keira are the most welcoming hosts and the staff is the most helpful, friendliest you can find anywhere! We stayed for 5 nights in Apartment B with our two children and we found the charming apartment to be very comfortable with plenty of space for all of us. My parents were traveling with us and stayed at in the castle which they also enjoyed immensely. The breakfast was beautiful arranged and delicious. The dinner was so superb we ended up eating there almost every evening. Lucia at the front desk was beyond amazing- she arranged everything from a truffle tour to the most fabulous driver to take us to our next location in Tuscany. We really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay and will dream of returning again soon!

Staying at Castello di Monterado was an absolutely beautiful experience. The suite we stayed in was incredible, and the hosts are extraordinary. To stay in the castle was a great experience. The property is beautiful with the manicured gardens and view of the countryside as well as the Adriatic Sea. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Could not have had a better three-night stay while exploring. Incredible history with this property and extremely well maintained.

A magical stay!

Castello Di Monterado is a magical place! So wonderful to stay in such a majestic castle with so much history. Rooms have been redone and are sleek, modern, extremely comfortable, but yet have retained the charm and character of the castle. Orlando and Kira couldn't have been more wonderful hosts. Their suggestions for daily itineraries and delicious restaurants were perfect. Breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting. The pool area is gorgeous! My hope is to be able to visit again. We will tell everyone we know to plan a visit here!

Paradise in the Marche

For many years I have travelled through Monterado to visit the cemetery there but had no idea about the Castello. What a find! Everything about our stay was excellent: the welcome, the accommodation (we stayed in a beautiful suite with balcony), the breakfast, the facilities, and the 360 degree views of the surrounding area are breathtaking. Spectacular!

We stayed at Castello di Monterado for 8 nights but wished we could have stayed for a month! Orlando and Kira were wonderful hosts who left nothing to chance. Everything was spectacular from the views from the pool and our rooms to the surrounding area.

A memorable place

Castello monterado was our first stop on this trip to Italy and I am so glad I chose it. It is a beautiful hotel, maintained beautifully and was such a special experience for our family. The rooms are beautiful and you literally feel immersed in history. Orlando and kiara were so friendly and helpful, I actually didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend if you enjoy being slightly off the beaten track.
