- Broken lock on door, never fixed properly. Other couples complaining about theirs. - Screaming kids everywhere. - Seriously expensive - Dated facilities - Average food, all very pricey - Bad weather. Better snorkeling to be found in the Yasawa Islands.

Thank you to the Treasure Island Resort Crew! Especially Selita! Best drink maker on the planet! Thank you for the strong cocktails while the kids were in Kids Club! Enjoy the salt n vinegar chips!!! We were made to feel like family.... got to sit in on a ‘private’ kava session too..... saaaaaweeet!!!

I’m here right now and I'm having a terrible experience at the Resort. Everything here is very expensive and poor quality, the rooms are ok, but the rest looks like it's abandoned. the staff, some of them are super lazy especially the reception women who love to laugh when the internet goes down all the time. the food is terrible and everything is very dirty especially the sticky restaurant tables. Fir the kids nothing to do only the wonderful beach. the pool is ridicule looks like a fish tank. also has mini golf, with rotten artificial grass all torn today it rained a lot here so I asked the staff to arrange the table tennis but the hotel didn't have the net e the table really olld and dirty. This place is abandoned dirty old and full of rubbishy. If you can choose another place, it’s terrible for family. The quality is -1 REALLY REALLY BAD!!!

The staffs were ok. the location it’s self and the things you can do on the island, snorkeling was great and fun. A recommended family location The staff when we arrived from the boat were exceptional, as we started going through the island, we only came across 2 staff who were very rude and not accom-dating.

Spent a day on Treasure Island. The staff were wonderful. They kids thought they had died and gone to heaven. Premium Beachfront Room spacious and well located. Teppenyaki lunch delicious. Lots of fish to see with snorkelling, but not much coral. Great family holiday.

We've just got back from our stay at Treasure island and couldn't be more impressed with it. The resort offers plenty of activities at reasonable prices and you will struggle to be bored in the day or evenings. If you stay here, definitely do the sandbar picnic! We had an hour to ourselves on the private island with picnic food and drink provided. Also, if you stay definitely try the Teppanyaki meal! It was our first time trying this, and the chef, William did an incredible job with the food! Everything he cooked taste delicious and we could barely stand after eating so much! We will definitely come back to the resort if we're ever in Fiji again!

We visited Treasure Island as a family of 4 including our 3 year old twins. We have stayed at other island resorts in Fiji as well as Denerau and the Coral Coast and therefore realise that food and drink are expensive. Pros- our premium oceanview Bure was modern, clean and spacious. It was only set back slightly further than the beachfront Bures. No complaints. The beach is stunning, the sea crystal clear and the salt water pool is great especially for little ones with 2 paddling pools surrounded by sand. The transfers to and from the island using the speedboat were excellent. We didn’t make use if the kids club as ours were too young, but we did hear good things about it. Our children ate free at the kids buffet as they were under 4. Cons- THE FOOD! Overall this was the biggest letdown by far. We don’t mind paying a premium for being on a stunning island and appreciate everything is imported, however the quality and standard of the food was poor and the worst we have ever experienced in Fiji. For example, beef curry FJD$55 wasn’t even edible, dry and chewy meat that we couldn’t even cut with a knife or chew. Tasteless seafood risotto with soggy rice. Inconsistent portion sizes and chicken club sandwich with no chicken and when I complained the waitress grunted and proceed to pull it apart to check as if she didn’t believe me. She then took it away and returned with the chicken added by which point the chips were cold! Breakfast, no option for a la carte so you have to pay FJD$33 for continental which is of average quality and expensive if you just want fruit and toast. Espresso coffee $5 is rubbish, don’t bother. The buffet if you were on a meal plan looked cheap and reminded me of school dinners. Teppanyaki - for my husbands birthday we booked this which included 2 hours free babysitting. The food was ok but when we checked out we had been charged for 3 hours babysitting. They refunded 2 hours but advised it was a 3 hour minimum, if we had known this we would not have rushed back to the room after 2 hours and would have enjoyed another hour in the bar. Poor communication. Service- so much for friendly Fijian service. All the staff in the restaurant and bar were grumpy and walked around like zombies. We ate off the a la carte menu at 5.30pm with our children and the restaurant was not busy, yet we had to seat ourselves, get our own menus and then chase staff around to take our order. Food was slow to arrive and pizzas were often sold out...... The resort has a feeling that it’s run down and needs a makeover. The communication from all staff is poor and you have to find stuff out for yourselves. Such a shame as it should be so much better. We will take our money elsewhere next year.

Friendly staff and a great place with laid back atmosphere. My sisters, my brother and my wife and i throughly enjoyed the kind hospitality of the staff at treasure island. Shout out ifi. Thank you for waking up early (5am!!) to play isa lei as we were leaving. vinaka vakalevu and Fãiåk se’ea. Its a paradise. Thanks Isaia n Paula

We went for a family holiday with our friends 4 adults and 3 kids in total. The boat out to the island wasn’t enjoyable as it was stinking hot and a tad rough- unfortunately due to rough seas we had to arrive on the other side of the island where it was rubbish day so not the best first impression. The rooms were as to be expected a little run down- not great hot water in the shower or hand basin. The service and food weren’t great- very slow and when you finally got the food it was warm. Ate from the buffet a bit as it saved having to wait- however 3 out of the 4 adults ended up with a crook tummy. We were booked to stay 11 nights but after 5 we were ready to move on. Ocean swimming is great clear water and white sand as you would expect but was very windy so limited us to the water sports activities. Snorkelling was great! Salt water pool which was good as it had 3 seperate areas so great for little ones. Lots of kids and families so got to meet some nice people. You can hire a stroller for $15 FJD a day which was a life saver as depending where your Bure is can be a 5 minute walk to restaurant/pool. Washing can be done $5 a token and single serve washing powder for $1- 1x token gets you either one was or one dry cycle. Bottled water is expensive $11 FJD so buy before you go. They said water was safe to drink however I boiled before drinking. Baby sitters are available for $9 an hour and need 3 hours notice- minimum 3 hrs so $27 FJD which is charged back to your room. Also has kids club which is great and do cool activities. Island has a shop which has supplies- but as expected prices were steep. Understandable when you realise the effort to get supplies to the island. Overall an average experience but great for kids- the big question would I return? Short answer is no.

We visited treasure island for 7 nights in July and amassed a room bill for $3,500 Fijian. The buffet is $72 per person and a cocktail is $28, local beer $11 local bottled water $10. The staff are generally friendly and they would want to be considering you are pay 5 star plus prices with the only exception of Rosie in the gift shop. She is rude arrogant and a liar. The rooms are outdated and in need of renovation, the island is tiny and you can walk around in 5 minutes. The snorkelling is fantastic but the equipment is old and worn. If you want to purchase your own they are $65 and very poor quality. Overall very average experience we all had upset stomach problems for the entire week. 1/5 would rather spend my money in Bali or Vietnam where you get better value for money. YOU WONT FIND ANY HIDDEN GOLD ON TREASURE ISLAND BUT YOU WILL FIND TGE PIRATES RUNNING THE SHOW!!!
