Loved the place Lots of room friendly staff convenient location

This was an excellent little Inn in Traverse City. It was a cute little suite with a queen size bed, bathroom, livingroom/kitchen which had a stove and a fridge as well as a couch. There were 2 tv's. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. Great room. Great price. Very clean. We arrived late but it was an easy check in and check out.

The sofa wasn't the most comfortable for watching TV, however we just chose to watch the one in the bedroom. Exceptionally clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

The desk clerk was very abrupt at check in, not quite what I would call ride, but not particularly friendly our welcoming. The room was clean, the bed ok, but only full, not queen. Only one packet of condiments for our morning coffee. No view. Weeds out back, parking out front. Good enough for just a place to sleep, but over priced in my opinion.

I was in Traverse City on vacation to do some leaf peeping. The room was so nice, I hated to leave to go looking! The ONLY negative thing I can say is the internet was slow SOMETIME. I call it a room, it's a suite/small apartment with separate bedroom, livingroom/diningroom/kitchen. It's just amazing. The value for the money is incredible. I would not hesitate to stay there again, and I can not recommend it highly enough. It is an incredible place to stay. The people in the office are so can't go wrong here.

We booked 2 level 2 bedrooms suit with fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are very clean and comfy. They have everything we need. TVs are in every room. The location are closed to the lake and parks. Lovely Inn!

This was super clean and comfortable, but there was no one to check in with. our key was in an envelope hanging on the door of the lobby but lobby was locked and no one around, even in the morning.

The hotel doesn't have all the amenities that the bigger hotels have, but we felt safe and the hotel was clean. They offered a decent breakfast in the morning.

It was nice for the sip and savor weekend! It was in a great location and nice that it had two bedrooms

Nice hotel for the price. Enjoyed the kitchenette. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. People were friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

sweet place ... I've stayed several times ... Great staff

Was pleasantly surprised with this property. Although older, it's well-maintained, and the room was spotless. The unit was a two bedroom townhouse with a small kitchen and living room. Check in was a breeze, and the office manager was extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay! We have four children, so we found the room we stayed in to be delightful! The kids loved having an upstairs room with two queen beds where they were able to sleep, I loved having a room off the sitting area where I slept. The suite was very clean and fresh, and very comfortable. I nice change too having an outdoor pool, we were able to enjoy the pool without feeling the humidity of the indoor pools! When we plan our next trip to Traverse City, we will be looking at Traverse Bay Inn for our place to stay! A great experience for my whole family. Absolutely LOVED it!!!

The room was clean and comfy. We arrived late but I called ahead and they had an envelope with a welcome letter and room key waiting for us when we got there. The staff in the morning was friendly and cheerful and reminded us to check out the Farmer's Market in downtown.

Traverse City is one of our favorite destinations for a trip. Over time, we have checked out many of the hotels/motels. We discovered Traverse Bay Inn a few years ago and it remains one of our favorite motels. This is a family run motel. It is not fancy but it offers an interesting mix of rooms. Some rooms consist of an upper and lower story with the upper story having a jacuzzi; others are single story (the upper story door is closed). They offer the basic amenities (stove, full frig, sink, couch, TV), a minimum of three rooms (a combination living room/kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom). The rooms are on the small size - warning the bathroom is absolutely tiny. They are clean, basic, and well maintained. The staff is great. If you are looking for low cost, low frills, convenient lodging in the Traverse City that offers easy access to Traverse City (the hotel is located on US31), then there is a lot to like about this motel.

I booked this hotel for one night but I enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our trip for one more day. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. It was about a 10 minute drive from downtown Traverse City, but the price made up for the distance. I will be staying here again on my next trip to Traverse.

The room was well priced, conveniently located and very comfortable.

This was our 4th Anniversary, had no real idea what to do. I have lived in Michigan almost all my life and I have never been to Traverse City. I started looking at Hotels, I found one near the casino, at a price that fit my budget. I called and asked the receptionist at the Traverse Bay Inn; what was near the hotel that my husband and I could. Due to the fact it was their off season, a lot was still closed. We were referred to the wineries, and breweries. That was something that interested by my husband and myself. The staff was friendly and helpful. The staff made sure our stay was good and that we were having fun. Our room was huge. It had a kitchenette, a loft with an extra room. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel also has a pool and a hot tub, but it was the off season. Had a great time at Turtle Creek Casino, but the wineries had to be the best. Driving around the peninsula, looking for the wineries, we saw some amazing sites. The staff at the wineries were friendly and fun. They had some great tasting wine. We will go back again. I thanked the staff when we left. We'll be back.

We loved the kitchen and living room combo in addition to having a bedroom

While not on the water, it's right across the street from it. This is a two room suite with a full kitchen and living area for 54.95! This is the second time I have stayed here, and it won't be the last!
