About this property

🏖️ Gold Coast Inn | Breathtaking Sunsets w/ Lake View ➠ 105

Gold Coast Inn | Lake View Room 105, Traverse City

There's a particular kind of quiet that settles in on the east side of Traverse City, where Gold Coast Inn looks out over Grand Traverse Bay. This ground-floor lake view room catches it fully — calming decor, soft light, and a view of the water that changes with the hour. It's a modern, self-check-in boutique hotel built for travelers who want ease without losing the feeling of being somewhere special.

A comfortable queen bed anchors the room, with a Roku TV, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker for the small comforts of home. Free parking, fast WiFi, and complimentary access to Iron House Gym are included, and the Traverse Area Recreation Trail runs right out the back door.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, summer weekends bring complimentary wine and charcuterie on the shared balcony as the sun goes down over the bay.

Downtown Traverse City is about 5 miles away, with Traverse City State Park Beach, Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, and Cherry Capital Airport all close by — along with the region's wineries, breweries, and waterfront dining.

This room was built for the kind of trip where the plan is simple: watch the water, wander into town when you feel like it, and let Traverse City set the pace. We'd love to have you stay with us.
Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a microwave, a coffee maker, and a hair dryer.

Everything was great about this room, location, and host. The only mild complaint is that the building is very noisy. Several loud noises throughout the night made a restful sleep difficult. That the host left earplugs on the nightstand tells me this is probably normal. Unfortunately, I can't sleep with earplugs. It really was great other than that.

The Great Gold Coast Inn

Very clean and quiet. It was like having the Inn to ourselves. Took a couple times to figure out how to put the numbers in but it was easy. 🤷‍♀️

Immaculate!

The property was very clean and seemed quite new. The location was a bit away from the tourist section of the city which I appreciated, and the view of the bay was stunning! A great start and end to each day.

Convenient Location

The Gold Coast Inn & Suites was a last minute find for us on a busy Holiday week. It was the perfect location for us as we were vacationing with family near by. The room was clean & comfortable. Nice view of the bay and close to the bike trail. The advertised pictures were exactly what we got.

Perfect for my needs

Great location and lovely view of East Bay from every room. This is not a full-service hotel, but for my needs that was perfect. I wanted a quiet location with good bed/bath/kitchenette facilities, and this property totally met those needs.
