We spend 2 days on a family trip in this hotel. The rooms are basic equipped, ok in size and clean. I even find the “hangers” instead of a cabinet concept quite interesting for short business trips, but it would maybe require that they are place somewhat higher, so that you can open your luggage if you place it below. The breakfast was “ok”, the flair of the room equals an average corporate canteen, the food was well presented, but neither in selection nor quality something special. The location of the hotel is really great, you are in downtown Linz — just around the corner of the main shopping street “Landstraße” and you can reach in reasonable walking distance all downtown attractions. Overall: a solid “3/5” nothing to really complain about, but nothing special either, nevertheless depending on what’s your focus — price, value, breakfast you can find better options.
I spent one night at this hotel on Saturday 17.2.18 and found it a very convenient and comfortable stay. Reception staff are very helpful, the room was spotless and inviting and breakfast plentiful with lots of options of warm and cold dishes.
We just stayed the night as a stopover between countries. The check-in was very nice, friendly and efficient. The room itself was exactly what they advertise so there was no surprise there. The only thing we did not like about the room were the pillows. Very uncomfortable and small (I would have liked another one to prop up my head more!). Everything else was convenient and I imagine the hotel is mainly used for business, whereas we were leisure travellers. The only other thing we did not like was that the advertised HOT breakfast was actually cold (it did not retain any heat) and the coffee from the machines was dreadful even by hotel standards. In hindsight we would have not taken the breakfast option as we didn’t like it and it was not worth the money we paid - but the rest of the hotel was exactly what we expected and it was convenient for what we needed at the time of our stay...
Park Inn by Radisson Linz is nice and modern hotel. Centrally located it is close to all places of interest in Linz and main shopping streets. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Sound insulation is very good. The same for bathroom. Breakfast is very good, although they should add missing food quicker. I took the business room which is some 30€ more expensive than standard room, but I have not noticed any big difference. So, my conclusion is that it is not worth it. Almost the same you get in standard room.
I really enjoyed my stay here. It was impeccably clean, had good service; and the best thing about it is that it is located almost right in the middle of the city center. I would definitely stay again!
I was in this hotel +/- 5 times and this is my review: Pros: - the rooms are quiet, clean and spacious - the gym - friendly staff - location is in the city center but not too busy - good wifi Cons: - maybe some more machines in the gym
Stayed for 2 nights in a superior double, all clean, quite, check-in and out was super fast, staff was always friendly and competent, breakfast was good, variations average but fried eggs sunny side up - just perfect and super fast- thanks!!! Location is excellent in the city, everything you can do by walk. What I missed were slippers, coffee equipment in the room wasn’t renewed the second day, eucalyptus smell on the pillow I did not like and that there is no wardrobe to put your clothes in-in fact you can hang all your shirt and jacket on the wall but it looks a bit untidy. Garage is underneath the hotel, perfect for me. Overall a good place to stay and my criticism is most probably minor. BTW, don’t forget to by honey from the bees living in the first floor-the Austrian take their environment seriously!!! Thanks to the Hotel-Team
A more modern hotel with a good location near but not on the main shopping street. We were able to walk to two of the highest rated restaurants and several of the major tourist attractions. The included breakfast was good with many choices
Perfect location. Room clean. Furnishing could be better for the price. Reception staff very efficient. Parking available. Breakfast ok. But the location beats all other aspects. Room woth balcony was perfect for me.
Hotel is clean and in a great part of the city. Breakfast here is also good for $12 euros. The bar has an excellent selection. The room's bathroom only has liquid soap in the shower and at the sink, no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion bottles. Also, no coffee/tea makers in the room.
