When I started to look for places for my 10th wedding anniversary, I couldn't find one that was secluded from the crowd and provided all the amenities like spa and swimming pool etc.; until A friend recommended me The Aiyapura, Koh chang. To begin with the staff ( Ae, Suni, Jack, Phim etc ) all were super helpful and always greeted us with a smile all the time. The breakfast was amazing with wide combination of American, Thai, English cuisines. The room was luxurious and big. We lived both in the premier and deluxe cottage for 4 days. It was raining and the courteous staff used to take us around the whole property in Golf carts, you just have to request it by calling the front desk. The pool had a bar alongside, which was a huge plus. I will be surely coming back here again. Thanks Aiyapura team, keep up the good work !
Aiyapura is an excellent resort on Koh Chang. My wife and I arrived to a nice refreshment at the big reception and were offered free bicycles for the remainder of our stay. A very nice perk. They have golf carts to transport you to your rooms if they are on the other side of the resort. The resort is majestic and big and has it's own private beaches which are fantasticly relaxing. They also have kayaks that gou can rent for free and explore the surrounding beaches. We attended the New Year dinner and party which were excellent and felt very welcomed by the ever smiling staff who were extremely polite and accommodated us in every way. The only negative I have about Aiyapura is that the room we had booked had a strange smell coming from the AC system which smelt like a dead animal or rat that may have been trapped up there and the rooms could have been cleaner. We didn't complain at the time because the resort had upgraded us to the end room on the building with a fantastic view. The wifi was also very intermittent at best and would hardly ever connect. Overall this resort is fantastic, relaxing and very accomodating. I will be back here again very soon. Thank you Aiyapura.
Very Good hotel, with equally good staff. The best part of hotel is its fair pricing on excursions. They guide you correct and fair in all aspects. Its really huge and the inresort taxi is never late. The Breakfast is good. Very near to ferry service. Very nice pool and all facilities are reasonably priced. Clean Rooms with Good Bed. Stayed in Two Bedroom Villa . It was huge, wish it had a huge pool.
Lovely vilas with balconies, very nice outside, nice view, good pool, good breakfast, good staff and nice atmosphere but the private beach of hotel it not good for swimming and the inside restaurant for breakfast was very warm and the coolers were off !!! The hotel have trampoline and we were that for 2 hours that it was very interesting, at all hotel was good for us.
We booked and prepaid Aiyapura Koh Chang for just a few nights. The hotel lacks maintenance in every possible way, especially the completely outdated rooms with damaged furniture, old loud airco which keeps you awake at night. Breakfast buffet covered in insects, overprices restaurant. Way overprized for what you get, charge forca luxury hotel but get budget. Nothing possetive to be said about this resort, beside the junior staff being friendly. The language barrier is most certainly a problem, very few sfaff have English speaking skills, no managenent staff to be seen, maybe We asked several times to talk about the manager about the airco, large number of insects in our room and other issues, nobody got back to us. Thank goodness we moved to a new, mmuch nicer property afterwards, with top notch rooms, facilities and a better prices, something which cannot be said from Aiyapura Koh Chang.
A wonderful staff that will help you with anything. Rooms a bit dated need maintenance but the serenity makes up for it. We stayed in the villa with a pool well worth it. Breakfast was great every day. Shuttles to white sands beach twice a day. Would go back because of the staff.
Hi everyone We had booked a nice hotel in the heart of a White Sand beach with anticipation for a relaxing tropical vacation, but after three days we was tired since we came to Thailand. We decided to change hotel and accidentally stumbled upon Aiyapura resort turned out that the hotel is located in one of the most beautiful lagoons of Koh Chang. We enjoyed the wonderful scenery unique garden where strolling peacocks, beautiful small sandy beaches, relaxing tropical landscapes that can be observed from the beach or walk to kayak in calm waters at bay. The rooms are large, clean and beautiful, Thai style with large verandas overlooking the sea. The food in the restaurant is cooked differently and very tasty a real chef and the service is perfect. We had an unexpected honeymoon after 13 years with my wife.
I recently stayed at the Aiyapura while on a short business trip to the Island of Koh Chang. Admittedly it is an older property and the furniture is old wooden Thai style but I found the room to be very comfortable. I had a great night sleep and the bathroom and toilet were clean. I didn't have breakfast as I was joining friends at another hotel early in the morning. It is a big resort and there is no real beach to speak of. It is a bit of a way to the nearest "nightlife" and tourist areas so I suggest that you arrange some type of transport if you are staying there for a few days. Generally it is a good hotel. Would be happy to stay there again.
We had a lovely few days in this quiet corner of Koh Chang in between Christmas and New Year. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is set in grounds and bikes are provided to cycle round. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. It clearly is an older resort and some areas do need refurbishment., but it nevertheless is a peaceful and attractive place to stay. Our Thai massages were excellent and the views across the sea are lovely. The restaurant is right on the sea and whilst itself not the most attractive the food we ate was consistently delicious.
Wonderful, seqluded resort close to the Pier where the ferrys arrives. There are no other facilites in the area than what the resort offers. They offer everything you need, however when it's too quiet or you feel like eating something else - White Sand Beach is just a 300 baht taxi ride away (the ride itself is like a rollercoaster - my knuckles were white from holding on to the rails!!) Everyone in the resort is helpful and will do the most to assist you. When we had an eloped salamander in our cottage they came and picked him up and set him free outside. Speaking pf animals, we didn't se any monkeys but others told us about them. Peacocks are walking everywhere. There's a paved walk into the jungle as well a short running trail. What we missed was parasolls by the pool and the beach. You needed to find natural shade by the trees, which put you away from the baths. Also, at places where they'd put concrete to shield the sea from "eating" the land - it's so slippery warning signs should be put up. Breakfast was amazing with everything but plant milk (soy or oat). Not easy being a vegan cause nothing is labeled but there were plently of fruits and vegetables. In the restaurant they were friendly and helpful, specially the big guy who suggested food that was vegan, but not on the menu ❤ Suni at the front desk was amazing and went beyond expectations to help me!! We were in our own cottage (premium room). Nice snd clean. Loud a/c but never had any troubles sleeping! We'll be back!
