Tastefully furnished in an elegant, refined style with attention paid to every detail, the apartment comes with Wi-Fi, satellite TV and air conditioning. Set on two levels, on the third and fourth floor of a building with lift, it enjoys a privileged location. Only a short walk away are the seafront, the port (hydrofoils to the Egadis), Corso Vittorio Emanuele with its shops, cafés and restaurants and all sights and attractions of this town. On the third floor are a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two bedrooms and a bathroom with tub. The fourth floor includes a further living room with bathroom. On the same level the spacious terrace with outdoor kitchen, besides being the perfect spot for breakfasts and for al fresco dining, offers amazing views of the sea and of the Dome. From the property are easily reachable by car Erice, Marsala, Segesta, San Vito Lo Capo and the Zingaro nature reserve.

Luxury Apartment in the Heart of Trapani

We had an amazing stay at this fabulous apartment! Gianfranco was an exceptional host -we don't speak Italian, and Gianfranco speaks limited English; however, with his wonderful patience and with the help of Google translate on his phone, we were able to communicate effectively. He was in the apartment when we arrived to help show us everything about the house and to show us where we could park our car with free parking - he went along with us to ensure we found the right spot! On our walk back to the apartment he pointed out good places to eat and small grocery stores for any necessities. He checked in daily to see how it was going via WhatsApp, and when we had a small electrical issue a few days into our stay, he came quickly to rectify it. In the well-appointed kitchen, Gianfranco provided a welcome basket with a box of black tea, a box of Keurig pods for the Keurig machine, and a selection of typical Sicilian/Trapani sweets. As for the apartment, luxury is not an understatement: The airconditioning in every room worked wonderfully (important in the summer months); the location is right in the historical center, steps from the coast and also the center of town; the apartment is very quiet. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, etc. Each bedroom is private and the bathrooms have a gorgeous marble bath and/or rain shower. Each bedroom and the living room has a television. What stands out is the quality of all the fixtures and hardware in the apartment, which pictures cannot capture. The doors are heavy, solid wood pocket doors; the double-paned windows keep out noise and heat/cold, while the beautiful interior shutters keep out the light when needed. Small details such as ironed, linen dishtowels in the kitchen drawers make guests feel like nothing was overlooked. The roof deck is breathtaking - a completely outfitted kitchen for cooking outside (dishwasher included), a large table for outdoor dining, and several comfortable sitting areas, all of which overlook the lighted church dome and the blue sea. There is an outdoor shower as well. The lounge area off the roof would be perfect for a space for teens to hang out if traveling with family - also equipped with a TV and a lovely bathroom (yes, there are two showers on the roof deck - both an outdoor and an indoor) Needless to say, we were so sad to leave Trapani and especially Gianfranco's apartment, but we surely will return when we next visit Italy.
