We had an amazing time at the Fiery Gizzard Lodge! Andrew made sure we got checked in and answered any questions we had as needed. It was rainy off and on but we still managed to get in some amazing hikes there on the property, in the state park and also in nearby Sewanee (also saw University of the South) and Altamont— Greeter Falls area. We did a lot of playing games, cooking and spending time going up and down the hill to Sycamore Falls and listening to the falls on the deck. Chimney Rock is so interesting. The property is stunning and there was wildlife galore— deer, turkey, rabbits. The lodge was perfect and had everything we needed. We also visited the Mountain Goat Market, Papa Ron’s and Fox Monteagle store which is eclectic and fun. Hwy 56 coffee in Altamont is super cute and the owner of Dutch Maid bakery made me my birthday cake— homemade, delicious on a real cake dish! Thank you Andrew for sharing your space! It is a true gem! We would love to visit again. ~Aimee
