Perfect location in Townsend. The cabin was super clean. I appreciated the extras in the kitchen such as condiments, spices and little things you may forget on your trip. The decor was adorable and cozy. The host is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely come again for a short stay :)
We loved our stay at Lisa's treehouse in Townsend! The treehouse was gorgeous and exactly as described. Check-in was a breeze and Lisa was very helpful and attentive. There were plenty of bedding extras, quilts, and board games we enjoyed playing. The kitchen was well-equipped with spices, coffee, creamer, and multiple sweetener options. Our family loved the views, coffee on the porch, and the serene surroundings. We even saw a black bear from the road. An exploration of the surrounding areas confirmed that Townsend was exactly our speed and a great home base for exploring Great Smoky Mountains and a day in Dollywood. We will definitely stay her again when we return to this gorgous area.
My family had an amazing week-long stay at this property in August. We absolutely loved the location, which made it easy for us to drive to the Smokies every day. We also enjoyed spending a relaxing afternoon at the clubhouse pool, where the staff was super friendly and the mountain views were simply breathtaking.
Just a few things to note: Since the property is nestled in the woods, you won't catch any sunsets unless you venture out, but you'll definitely get to hear the wonderful sounds of wildlife. While there's no dishwasher, laundry, or automatic ice maker, the host provided an ice tray that worked perfectly for keeping our water bottles chilled. As for laundry, if you're planning a longer stay like we did, consider packing a few extra clothes or visiting the nearby laundromat.
