Cloud 9 is a genuine log cabin offering two bedrooms with a sleeping loft upstairs, each with a king size bed. The downstairs den offers a regulation size pool table, another television, and wrap around deck. The main level has the primary suite, full kitchen and living room, with private deck, and a four person hot tub. There is also deck furniture, picnic table, and gas grill, overlooking the views of the Smoky Mountains. The cabin also offers high speed wireless internet and cable television. While staying at this home, guests will have access to the Wild Laurel Fitness Center at NO charge, and access to the swimming pool for a small fee. Less than ten minutes from the Little River, where you can fish and tube, as well as the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and horseback riding.

Great cabin to enjoy Townsend & Cades Cove! Clean & roomy! Does have a lot of stairs, so just be aware of that before you rent.

When we arrived at the cabin there was water standing in the bottom of the refrigerator and on the floor in front of it. We had to take cups and bale the water out because we checked in on Sunday. I sent a message to the host and they never responded. However Dogwood Cabins called from the message I left them on Monday morning. The ice maker was making a horrible sound about every 6 hours. The maintenance guy did not fix anything said someone else would come out after we left. We were there for 5 nights being woke up every night by this noise. The kitchen stove was absolutely disgusting. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year. The one big burner was broke so we couldn’t use it at all. Again, maintenance said he couldn’t fix it. We had to clean the stove before we could cook anything. We had no kitchen towels. The maintenance guy brought some when we asked. One extra roll of toilet paper in the main bathroom, no extra downstairs bathroom. The whole house needed a deep cleaning from top to bottom. I also advice adding if you have older people or very young children the stairs going up and down are not for elderly or young people. Someone would get seriously injured trying to maneuver them. Positive note, the boys loved the pool table and hot tub on the deck. We did see a baby bear right behind the cabin. It was nice to sit on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet.
