Beautiful mountain get away

This is a beautiful little cabin, very quiet and secluded. Everything you need right there in the cabin. The only thing to critique is, the bed’s sheets would not stay on ever and popped off the entire night. It made it difficult to sleep well. We are hikers and are out all day so we like good sleep before heading out on our next adventure. We would love to stay here again.

Wedding week!

I had rented this house for my inlaws to stay in for the week of our wedding. It was on the same property as the house my family had stayed in. It was nice to have both families on in the same area. The only concern they had was that the shower was too tiny, they said it was hard to move around, as it was very narrow. Also, the upstairs only has a sink and a toilet, there was no shower upstairs. Other than that, they seemed to be happy with the hot tub and the front porch with the views!

The views...........

I went there planning on hiking a lot, I loved the house and porch overlooking the mountains so much I relaxed more than planned. It is a perfect setting. There is 2 houses on the "lot", it's a big lot and the other family didn't interrupt my peace, but it's not 100 percent a solo land if you hate people haha. The views are perfect though. Great location.

Great views and very clean.

Very clean nice property with a great view of the mountains. Great porch and plenty of rocking chairs. Grill is in great condition and plenty of LP. Also, they have a wonderful fire pit with comfy Adirondack chairs and plenty of seasoned fire wood. I need to stress again that this place was very clean on our arrival. Fresh linens and towels. Host is very easy to contact and check in was a breeze. We had no problems our entire stay. Roads are steep and narrow in areas, but this is to be expected in the mountains and foothills. I was still able to get in anywhere with my Ram 3500 dually long bed and was able to turn around in the driveway. Cades Cove is very close and Townsend is a nice friendly area. Maryville is a 20 minute drive for any major shopping needs, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge are roughly 30 minute drives. Still driving any distance is no big deal as the scenery is absolutely stunning and distracts you from time in the vehicle. We will definitely go back and stay here again. Love the area.

Cozy place for two

We bought groceries and didn’t leave for anything. We enjoyed the hot tub and we wished it would have been a little cooler so we could have used the fire place…. It was prepared and ready to go with wood already cut for you! Very nice property owner!

Great Location

Great location. Convenient to Townsend and Cades Cove and not far from Pigeon Forge. The property was very clean. We really enjoyed having the hot tub and the fire pit, and there was plenty of room on the property. The kitchen was well stocked, and they also had fire wood!. The beds were comfortable. Make note, this is a great property for a couple by themselves or with small kids. There is only one shower, so I would not recommend this property for two couples. Also, I recommend the owner update the primary photo from the porch. Although it is still very pretty, a house has recently been built in the open field in front of the cabin. We enjoyed our stay, and I would definitely come back.

Good stay

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that really needs to be changed. Wall outlets are loose and phone chargers kept falling out so could not charger phones in house. Need updated pictures because pictures show rug in living room. Some tape needs to be put on rug corners in bedroom to stop from people tripping on the corners that are bent up. Overall it was a good experience

Lovely little cabin!

The location is gorgeous and accommodations are cozy and comfortable!! Our kids loved the zip line and fire pit. After spending a day in Pigeon Forge and Gaitlinburg, Townsend was right up our alley. It has just enough to keep a family entertained without the ridiculous crowds and traffic. We will definitely recommend your cabin and property to friends and family passing through the Smokies.

Quiet getaway to the mountains

My family loved staying in Helene’s cabin for a vacation in the Smokies. It was quiet and felt secluded. The view was beautiful from the front porch and the big upstairs windows. Everything was clean and well stocked. We used the hot tub and had some great meals after full days outside. The cabin is a good size for a family of four. This is the first time we stayed in the Townsend area and we would definitely return.
