Chara Cabin is a modern design mountain cabin with convenient seclusion and spectacular views. Chara, is the Greek word for JOY. Nestled in the trees with walls of windows, you have the feeling of being in a treehouse with views of many mountain peaks including Mt LeConte. The first level features a Bunk Room with two Twin beds over Full size bunks, a full bath and a sitting area. The second, or Main floor has two bedrooms, with a King in the Primary bedroom, a Queen in the secondary bedroom, two full bathrooms, fully equipped Gourmet's Kitchen with stainless steel appliances, Dining area that seats eight at the table and three at the island, and spacious Living Room with large sofa and multiple swivel chairs. All are centered around the floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace. The large open deck and screened in porch are extensions of this space, which also offers patio furniture, a large flat screen television, and outdoor gas fireplace. The top floor has two bedrooms, both with King beds, one full shared bathroom and a Loft space with shuffleboard fun. Parking is available on a paved driveway several cars and you will also have access to the garage. This modern cabin was built as a quiet retreat to slow down, relax, and experience JOY in nature. While staying at this home, guests will have access to the Wild Laurel Fitness Center at NO charge, and access to the swimming pool for a small fee. Please note this property has a year-round 4 night minimum and is a SMOKE-FREE property.
