We had a wonderful time at La Bergerie. The facilities are very good, and Angele and Robert are excellent hosts. Despite being unable to speak each other's language, we managed to communicate regularly and they were very generous with the produce of their garden, including beans, plums, mirabelles and tomatoes. Also provided two jars of jam. The weather was extremely hot and we had all our meals on either the balcony or the porch - wonderful locations to spend time. The surrounding scenery is wonderful, especially if you like sunflowers! There's lots to see and visit nearby and the markets are good at Villeneuve and Monflanquin.We absolutely recommend La Bergerie and would be happy to return.One final point; the photographs on the VRBO website don't do the accommodation justice - it's much nicer than the photos!.

Wonderful

A wonderful property in a great location. Away from the crowds but only a short drive from necessary conveniences. The hosts were very welcoming and made it clear that I could contact them in the event of any issues which there weren't. Having the Google Translate application was a great help as my French is pretty poor. I hope to return to this area and would certainly use this property again.

Beautiful French Experience

A true French experience in a beautiful place and just an amazing setting. Anjelica and Roberta couldn’t have been kinder , beautiful homemade jam,fruit from their beautiful gardens, flowers awaiting us on arrival …. Une merveille !

On était là pour un mariage au château Ste Foy d’Anthé. C’était vraiment une location idéale pour l’occasion--et bien situé pour explorer la région plus généralement. Le gîte est très calme et les étoiles sont incroyables. Il y a une terrasse ombragée, même la clim pour les jours les plus chauds, c’est très bien équipé : lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, douche confortable, etc. Prix très raisonnable. Les propriétaires sont gentils et généreux sans être intrusifs ; ils nous ont offert des tomates et abricots de leur jardin. Il faut absolument avoir une voiture. Mais il y a de bons restaurants et magasins dans les environs, et beaucoup de lieux intéressants à découvrir. Un seul bémol, mais qui risque d’être important pour certains. L’internet est très faible et très lent, et c’est dans une zone blanche pour les portables, à part peut-être SFR. La situation peut changer ; demandez aux propriétaires. Remarque, pour certains, la manque de connectivité peut être un atout…

Bergerie rénovée avec beaucoup de gout. We hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid en van de locatie. De veranda was perfect. De eerste avond genoten van een prachtige sterrenhemel, later in de week van een geweldig onweer. En restaurant Auberge de Brelan om 2 km afstand is een aanrader!!

Calme et nature

Endroit idéal pour des vacances en accord avec la nature, pour rayonner et découvrir les richesses du Lot et Garonne, la bastide de Tournon dAgenais est magnifique et ses petits restos à essayer ainsi que ses marchés gourmands du vendredi soir durant tout l’été. Et nous ne vous parlons pas du musée du foie gras à visiter absolument… La bergerie est très belle, à ´ombre de son chêne ancestral et majestueux. Vos hôtes sont chaleureux et à votre écoute. Nous avons passés un magnifique séjour.

Calme et quiétude pour se ressourcer

Bergerie parfaitement rénovée dans l'esprit du pays. Nous avons été accueillis avec grande gentillesse par les hôtes, avec des petites attentions comme un pot de confiture maison, une bouteille d'eau fraiche et quelques abricots. Le gite permet de prendre ses repas sur une terrasse couverte face à la foret, ce qui nous a permis d'apercevoir une biche en train de se nourrir. Gentille et charmante petite bergerie avec un lit en mezzanine et des frais de nettoyage prohibitifs

Bergerie climatisée et au calme mais avec un deuxième lit en mezzanine pouvant poser problème pour des enfants. Pour une nuit, les frais de nettoyage sont de 50% du coût de la nuitée... En outre, un chèque de caution de 200€ pour une nuitée me semble légèrement disproportionné. Sinon, environs très calmes mais un peu éloignés de tous commerces. Venir avec de quoi petit déjeuner, même pour une nuit. Propriétaires très avenants et accueillants.

De gîte ligt op een prachtige plek in volledige stilte. Het huis is heel compleet ingericht met veel privacy. Rondom de gîte zijn veel mogelijkheden om privé buiten te zitten.

Bergerie spacieuse, confortable et bien au calme

La rénovation de cette bergerie est très réussie : bien décorée avec de très belles pierres du Quercy (murs de 60 cm d'épaisseur). Bravo à Angèle et Robert pour cela et aussi pour leur disponibilité et leur accueil très sympathique ! Location idéale pour se ressourcer.
