## Emplacement
Located in the heart of the South-West, Toulouse deserves its name as a pink city. The pink colour of the brick of its buildings and homes gives the ensemble an undeniable charm. Known for its pleasant atmosphere, Toulouse is also a city of art and history with an important architectural and artistic heritage preserved over the centuries. Its historical centre is full of Renaissance mansions, testifying to the city's heyday during the pastel trade. Among the most beautiful Renaissance buildings in the city are the Hôtel d'Assézat, which today houses the Bemberg Foundation, a private museum with a collection of paintings, as well as the Hôtel de Bernuy, the Hôtel du Vieux-Raisin, and the Hôtel de Clary (or Hôtel de Pierre). The Place du Capitole is the heart of the city, surrounded by remarkable buildings such as the Capitol, housing the Town Hall and the Theatre, with at the back the former Tower of the Archives, now the seat of the Tourist Office.
