Their is a large 'public area' immediately adjacent to this hotel. When I was there, there was a travelling fairground open there, so I was treated to very loud music from 3.00pm onwards. I was told that this space is in pretty much constant use for noisy things like mini-concerts, markets etc etc. Just so that I didn't feel neglected in the mornings, when the fair wasn't blaring loud music, some considerate french window cleaners decided 7.00am would be the best time to trundle a noisy motorised hydraulic cage lift round the hotel and start cleaning windows, which appeared to necessitate repeatedly revving the engine to max revs. To add insult to injury, I was then fleeced of €16.50 for breakfast. I've stayed in much nicer hotels and never been charged that much. I won't be going back.

The common areas are enjoyable with a lot of games for kids and adults. We had a great time playing in there. Rooms are OK, sheets and pillows are average but the rooms are great. Service is good and cleanliness is also great, quiet and peaceful.

We are a family of four, and initially I was worried that the pull out sofa bed was going to be a bit on the small side for the kids to share. I needn't had worried, the room was large enough, and the sofa bed when pulled out was the same size as our double bed. Very clean room and visited every day by the housekeeping staff. All the staff, especially reception and the bar/dining area were superb and spoke brilliant English. The breakfast was so varied and fresh, and so much was on offer that we didn't need lunch ! One of the bar staff was kind enough to check if I could see the FA cup semi final on the bar's t.v. and put it on for me when the game was due to start. This is a family friendly hotel, with a pool table, unique exercise bikes and lots of kids games to keep them amused. The swimming pool was ice cold but refreshing to say the least! The hotel is very close to the city centre, walkable in about 20 minutes, or the metro is a few minutes walk away. The rear of the hotel overlooks the unique Japanese gardens, and even has a large supermarket a few minutes walk away, ideal if you fancy a 3 euro bottle of local red, (better than the 25 euros at the hotel bar, but that is to be expected)! I would definitely book this hotel again and would thoroughly recommend it.

Stayed for 4 nights in shared room with huge balcony overlooking the pool and japanese garden. You really could not fault the hotel....very clean, spacious and friendly. We only ate there one night but wished we'd had more meals as the food was excellent and service efficient and friendly. Our room was spotless with fresh linen daily. We could however have used an extra blanket on the sofabed. The only downside was that there was work being done on the underground parking making access slightly tricky at time. Im sure this is temporary. Although it was sunny, the pool was also not quite warm enough for swimming in April. Heated pool would have been nice. There was easy access straight into the park and gardens.....lovely. I'd definitely return to this hotel.

This is a business hotel but one that makes families and children very welcome. We were not travelling with children but there were games and toys in the lobby and a few children every day playing happily. This is another excellent Novotel hotel: good staff, great rooms which are very comfortable, good bar and restaurant, and excellent breakfast. It also seemed very reasonably priced to me, given its star rating and the level of quality. It is located next to a lovely park and very close to a metro station - so it is a very convenient spot from which to travel to various parts of the city or an easy 10-15 minute walk to the cathedral and heart of the city. It is also an easy walk to where the Canal du Midi barge starts. The bar has a deck outside next to a small pool - all looking over the park, so I imagine it would also be great in summer. And tip - in the Boulevard Lascrosses (very near the hotel via the park) there is a laundromat. If you are long distance travellers like us from Australia, you may appreciate this, and all payment is made via your card - so you don't need to spend days getting change as used to be the case.

Stayed there for one night only in the middle of the week so it was very quiet. However, the customer service was great and we had no issues at all. The hotel is very nicely decorated in a modern non-luxurious fashion. Rooms are big, spacious and clean. The only comment I would make is that even though the temperature panel showed 18 degrees it was very hot in the middle of the night. We had dinner that night at the restaurant and the food was very good and reasonably priced.

The hotel is a bit outdated form the outside, but inside is renewed and is up to Novotel standard. The executive room is the minibar included and enough drink during my stay. The breakfast was ok and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a pity that they don't have a real twin bed, as the sofa bed doesn't have good support on the back.

Excellent facilities, clean and very friendly and attentive staff. Both reception and bar employees are friendly and dedicated. Sufficient parking facilities in the environment and on walking distance of the city center.

The hotel and rooms and fully up to the Novotel standard. Everything you need is present, rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is buffet style with a wide enough variaty to suit all tastes. Free wifi and complimentary water bottle.

I spent there 3 nights. The location is great just beside a beautiful parc and at 7 minutes walk from metro station campans cafarelli. The staff is very nice. The room is spacious enough, clean, quiet with a very confortable bed. The breakfast is very good. What i really liked was the take away food offer at the lobby where u can get Salads or other prepared dishes for a very low price as take away. Very practical thing. Highly recommended.
